Unfortunately, I'm all too familiar with back injuries. Don't be too proud to use a cane if it helps take the stress off while you heal. You do a lot of walking in Vegas.
Don't worry, it's not that bad of an injury. I just wanted to give myself a few more days to rest up at home, instead of being in Vegas and walk a lot every day. But will make it there on Saturday with 99% certainty!
If you aren’t playing hand shuffle double deck 3/2 blackjack, then you may as well be handing the casino your money. (If you are table gaming for comps entertainment etc. then obv thats different.)
The auto shuffler for 6 deck or continuous shuffler is a money printer for vegas.
Never play auto shuffler, always play regular deck.

Meh, doesn't matter for me. Many times I've gotten zero blackjacks through the entire session.

That's good to hear. When I hurt my back, it took a couple days before I could take a step without screaming in pain, and two weeks before I could push in the clutch on my car.
No. Burnt smell in the hallway and the sheets smells of cigarettes. The shower is barely working and it’s not particularly clean. We are slumming it for two more nights before moving back to Park.
I checked into a room in Gold Coast once that smelled similar. I couldn't imagine staying there for several days so I went back to the front desk and told them it stunk and wanted a different room. She asked what it smelled like and I said "dead body" because I couldn't adequately describe that funk. I did get a different room that had minimal stench.

Perfect answer! How could they not offer you another room? With any hesitancy, you could follow up with "are you going to call the cops to come check it out or should I?"

What are your thoughts on the new location for the poker room?
Location is okay. My only issue is the players, it’s pretty horrible.
Example: guy opens to 20 UTG, I 3bet KK to 60 and he open folds QQ.
Everyone is promo hunting and limping like crazy.

Pretty sure Langdon was joking but yeah, I wrote about the promo-chasing making for an odd game in my own TR - although that didn't apply to every table in fairness.
