Just wanted to check in and say it eventually ended and things went back to normal. Just took a really long time, got back to where I needed to be and it all worked out.

Anything that you did specifically to help you through the downswing? I'm in a similar situation now where every time I' all in I just know I'm going to lose no matter how good I get it in and it really sucks

Everyone else's advice ITT, but also...
Sometimes you just need to put in the hours & hands to get through the variance. Bad stretches can go on way longer than most expect, especially in the live setting where you play 20h/hr.

Drugs, alcohol, and sex used to work for me back in the day.
Now that I have 3 kids and a wife, its a Red Bull, a few small tokes, and a round of golf. Damn things change lol.
