Let's talk about Stream and buy mountains of games
I thought we might like to have a Steam offers catch-all thread, and maybe even any general discussion about the service
Where is that? It's not free on Stream.
The original two Fallouts, and imo especially the first one, are GOAT caliber games. If you played it when it first came out, it was completely mind-shattering.
Yeah, the older Fallouts are a bit clunky but still great to play.
It Takes Two is a ****ing BLAST.
Fallout 2 I could never get passed the first temple until I used a walkthrough.
I'm enjoying Arco.
I haven't heard about it but looks interesting. There's a demo available.
picked up Afterimage on sale and wow, this game is amazing. I normally prefer dark, soulslike metroidvanias and this game is neither, but the exploration aspect is just mindblowingly good, haven't felt this sense of wonder since playing Hollow Knight for the first time
Bought after image on your rec and it seems very good. Art really good and great controls. Maybe a bit easy.
oh, yeah, forgot to mention that you should immedietly switch to hard difficulty, even then it's on an easier side. Still, difficulty is not the point, since the exploration is where the game truly shines
Finally home and got the chance to install and play a few rounds. I think there's a mechanism inside the game to sent an invite to friends, let me know your Stream id and I can add and try and invite you if interested.
First impression is... it is a lot to take in at once. I wouldn't call myself a "veteran" of MOBAs but I've played thousands of hours of League. There's a lot going on in Deadlock and I think it hinders the experience, even just the visuals. Being a 3rd person shooter makes it worse vs. a 1st person shooter like Overwatch, or a top-down MOBA like League.
The Plucky Squire
I'm only 5 minutes in and this is already shaping up to be a masterpiece.
Really enjoying Dead Cells, which was free with Netflix
Been playing some steam next fest games which I had never heard of before.
Mandragora and somber echoes seem like the big winners so far.

I've played 24 hours now of Deadlock and it's growing on me.
It's not perfect by any means, still definitely needs a bit of tuning but it has a bit of its teeth into me. Addicting like League to understand how to play and build, and how all the various interactions go.
Think the GUI needs some improvement, it's still incredibly busy on screen but more playtime helps to temper that.
If anyone is playing, add me.
This thread shows some unread post by Brayanvkb but I can't see it and keeps showing up as unread.
I too saw that, and wanted to hear what Brayanvkb had to say.
going to visit an old friend from highschool
he's told me i need to purchase age of empires ii because he and some other kids from high school have been playing it together so i'll need to join in
AOE 2 will never die.
