Track already has the hurdles which is basically as silly as some of the swimming ones. And of course the race walking is ridiculous. In the early Olympics there was a standing long jump and a standing high jump and also (after checking, a standing triple jump). USA benefited as they had the GOAT standing jumper Ray Ewry, who won 8 golds in standing jump events over 3 games bet
IMO, the hurdles is much different than swimming. You're still running, but you have to jump over obstacles. They aren't asking you to run backwards. With half court basketball being a thing, hurdles and swimming seem fine as at least the top athletes still compete in them.

T20 cricket, Squash and Flag Football come in. I'm guessing the Flag Football won't make it to Brisbane in 2032 though.
