I think a mod should lock (and maybe even delete) this thread before it gets out of hand. Most of the responses have been measured and respectful of someone that's suffering, but the history of 2+2 says that won't last for long.

Seek professional help, live healthy lifestyle, move to a city or country where no one can recognize you at the poker table and try to get better. If you are able to fix your head you probably can come back to Vegas in the future and apologize to everyone.
You deserve to be in a mental hospital and you have no business in Vegas poker tables, if your brain seriously cant understand how insane those messages to her are, and whatever else you have done. But those messages alone are enough.
Don’t private message someone you don’t know. You DM’d her hundreds of times without her ever replying. That is not normal or acceptable behavior. The poker community will be better off with you banned.
Well this guy clearly lost it maybe around or after covid. Anyone know him because hes a Vegas reg, how he used to be?
His post history is normal stuff in the past but this year he made first schizo post about some Fibonacci numbers(??) that will determine Main Event champion to be something special or smthing like that.
Well hope he can heal himself with some help or at least get to a level where he is not harassing or being a threat to anyone.
You say a bunch of irrelevant nonsense like you never cheated anyone in poker or she stole money from someone else.
Even if both of those things are 100 percent true that has nothing to do with you constantly harassing her with an absurd amount of unwanted messages among other things.
You weren't wronged in any way. You need help and hopefully you learn from this.

If you are indeed seriously posting this thread because you genuinely believe you are being wronged you need to go to counseling. You have some big interpersonal issues to get hung up on someone you dont even know like this.
And yea this thread should definitely be locked. Hopefully the responses might help OP realize hes in the wrong and steer him towards letting this go, but he seems to live in a fantasy world.

OP please get help you don't need or want to make this situation anymore public or well known then it already is you have already made it bad and hard enough on yourself. To keep going with this will only make worse. Listen to all the advice you've been given so far it really is good advice and the best way forward. And stop ****ing stalking people FFS.
There's plenty of places/states/countries to go grind away at poker, keep your head down and make a living.

Players exploiting each other's tendencies. It's quite common to wish your opponents unwell, and them in turn wishing you unwell.

The punishment doesn't fit the crime unless someone has further proof I'm not seeing. Is it wrong? Yes. Is it wrong on a level for restraining order? Only if she asked him to stop directly (through text or in person).
My opinion: If he's less than 27 or so; he gets a free pass for being a loser and messaging her that many times. If he's much older than that; the restraining order should likely stand; as he should know better.
I'm way more lenient with this if he's younger than if he's older.
The absolute #1 most positive move you can make in your life is to stop talking about this woman, stop posting about her, never contact her again, stop trying to drum up sympathy for your situation, and stop hanging out in online groups for Unjustly Persecuted Men. I don't know how the law works with restraining orders but it seems plausible that this thread could be seen as evidence of further harassment. You need to stop all of this before you get thrown in jail.
Based on the [lack of] evidence provided by you in this thread, and the evidence provided by the other person on Twitter from 2023, she is absolutely justified in considering you dangerous and getting a restraining order against you. No one who reads that thread is going to think otherwise. You need to accept that you did something wrong and are suffering consequences for doing something wrong. You need to accept that, even if you think your punishment is disproportionate to your crime. Seek psychiatric treatment for your condition, and don't attempt to engage in relationships with women until you have. If you can't play poker in Vegas any more, move to LA, or do something else with your life. It is possible to pull yourself out of this nosedive before it's too late.

He's not hung up on her....that's a very gross misrepresentation of what was said.
He originally messaged her like a loser. I think we all agree there.
He then tried cutting ties and being respectful about it; and people jumped in calling him all sorts of names.
I guess it's easier to gossip than to seek to understand, you absolute ****ing hyenas.
My advice to him is to cut all contact; don't mention her even. Once law is involved; it doesn't matter what the truth is; you have to play by their rules.

She had asked him several times to stop messaging her and leave her alone. Again, had you actually read everything as you claim you have, you would know this.
Either you’re lying about reading it all or you’re allowing your own bias to cloud any reasonable judgement you may have. Of course, there’s always the possibility that you also have no reasonable judgement.
I agree that men don’t always get a fair shake in a court of law. But if you read what he wrote and put yourself in her shoes, it’s pretty clear who the aggressor is and why she was fearful of this guy to the point of filing a restraining order.

I'd not know that if I lived in vegas; I don't think many people know about our Indian reservations in NY. They aren't exactly marked on a map.

I said I read through his story, and hers. I didn't read every comment in the poker fraud article. I also looked at the twitter feeds.
You can keep writing things about me if you want; but you're doing so to be petty. You're making valid points; then ending them by insulting me. Not really advisable if you want me to agree with you.
Even if I’d sent her 10k messages that is not what matters. Both from a legal and moral standpoint.
Hi OP, as someone who doesn't know you, the other person, or the drama between you, this message alone proves that you are 100% in the wrong, and probably do indeed have severe mental health problems. It's amazing you can win at poker while having no grip on reality.
