I’m not sure what you’re asking for, but I’m the only one who can revoke the ban at this time, and it’s over when Mets has demonstrated what I have already said in this thread- that he understands what the rules are, how he is violating them, and understands now that it needs to stop. The requests are over.

technical question: how does this work if he's banned? can he still pm you despite the ban? is there some other mechanism in place for him (or anyone who's banned) to demonstrate any of this?
Typically, a permanent ban is meant to be permanent, but in this case, we have made numerous concessions for him as a long-standing member and often productive contributor to this community. He is welcome to send me a message through whatever channel he wishes- I know he has several friends here who are posters as well as several gimmick accounts that he uses- to discuss a pathway for him to return, but I will no longer be tolerating abusive and rude messages from him.

he makes a thread about the mods silencing him and not letting him post
max comes in the thread and says "hey man go ahead and freely post"
same day thread is silently closed without any reason nor explanation given and he is banned
terrible look that will only serve to confirm his theory to him

fair enough.
beyond the particulars of this situation, is it reasonable then (in your view) for any banned poster to create a gimmick so they can ask about being moderated? or is this accommodation just for Mets in this one spot?

There is very little if anything that won't confirm his theory to him. He accused literally every single poster in that thread of being part of the conspiracy. It's not like he was all "oh, look, I can post freely, I must have been mistaken, no conspiracy here".

Mets tells me that he has no gimmicks that he has access to and I am now currently his official representative with the outside world while he is locked up. Stand by for more.

For the few days he had that thread all he did was talk about how he used to be censored and complaining about those telling him to go ahead and share what he wanted shared, but he never shared anything.
So, thought I'd check in on his twitter. If these tweets are serious, looks like homeslice has finally achieved his heart's desire and got himself arrested.
