MuckPls vs Vegas - 04/12-04/29
Guess who’s back, back again!
Figured I’d get the ball rolling as it’s less than 3 weeks for my next trip. Like the last
is $100 min bet the lowest to find 3/2 blackjack at the Aria?
Yesterday took a turn for the unexpected. First I went out to buy a new camera at B&C, literally in the middle of nowhere. Then out to the desert to find whatever we could find at night. We went to Lake Mead area this time and it was pretty ok.

Will update later with plans when my brain starts to function again…
What is the best area to go at night for spotting creatures such as this?
What’s the closest area to do?

Warm nights with no wind, Lake Mead area is close. The later you go the more you see because of less traffic. The road from the start of the park to the end is like 30-45 minutes and no traffic so usually go with headlights and spot stuff on the road. They come out to soak up the heat from the road at night.
Those pics are awesome! I'd love to see those creatures. Why did you need a new camera? What did you get? Are you a pro photographer, too?

I am far from a pro, it’s just a hobby I had for a long time- wildlife photography. My main subjects are reptiles and birds.
Bought a new camera because I needed to upgrade for quality. Got the Canon RX50 together with the Canon RF 100-500, for $4000.

I’d like to thank Aria and Paris blackjack tables for contributing to my hobby [emoji23]
LOL. Nice!
The yellow circle you see is the buster bet side bet, if the dealer busts you get paid depending on the cards he busted with. The coins are just 50c coins for when the player bets 75 for example and gets a blackjack (pays $112.5 on a $75 bet so need to use 50c coins).
All tables at Aria have the wheel
I can take a pic later of the table if you want [emoji23]
Lots of gimmicks in blackjack these days. I haven't played any in years, for which my wallet is grateful.

That guy has been eating well.

Red Rock area is probably closer to town. I've never looked for critters there, but it's the desert. They are bound to be out there.

ROFL.
There are tons of birds in AZ, one of the best places in the country for birdwatching. Unfortunately, the best places are n the far corner of the state from Vegas. I've seen roadrunners prancing down the street in the middle of town.
Woke up to an early morning meeting, unfortunately with a massive headache. After the meeting headed over to Aria as usual and Salt & Ivy, this time for this:

8/10, was really good.
Then got a massage while waiting for 1/3 game where I immediately lost $400. Now 5 hours have passed and I am up the blue chips in the picture:

No plans for today really, possibly gonna just grind it out until tonight but it really depends on how everything goes.
Leon, what are the chances of playing 10-line UX and not hitting a single quad out of 10 draws in a row? Must be astronomical.

Hit zero of these haha. So much fun.
It's unlikely but not as low as you'd think. Esp if you hold a kicker, 10 ways you only have a 1/47 shot each spot. Let's put it this way, once you've missed on draw 4 or 5 you're a favorite to extend that streak to 8 or 9 😀

you seem to have the finding the reptiles thing down but if you want birds you could try here:

it's on the way out to Lake Mead.
Will post a proper update about yesterday when I find the motivation. For now this stack pic at Aria has to do.

I am actually taking a break and going there 6 am tomorrow morning for a full day of shooting, then on Sunday I’m going for a guided tour with a local photographer. Can’t wait!

If you want to do the other kind of shooting also, there's supposed to be a really good range somewhere in Henderson or Boulder City.
Heh, they make you stay at the range during that activity.
Where you at right now? I'm just back from dinner and put my name on the 1-3 list again.
