Tourettes: Can I have a special don't ban rule for my account please?
I have tourettes and so once in awhile a mod of the day feels my posting style misaligns with 2p2 policy or the associat

tourettes is where you have outbursts and swear sometimes but its not ur fault to people have to accept it as your normal speech

i HEREBY SUPPORT OP's reasonable request that his temp-bans, when required, be of short duration.
OP should feel obliged to not make an alt account when under a temp-ban so as to hold up his end of the bargain!
I don't do temp accounts to evade, thats why this is important, I keep getting banned for longer and longer, my next one will be like 6 months or a year, just for POST-tourettes outbursts which only last for short periods.
These shouldn't be ban worthy and if they are I should only be banned for the weekend TOPS!!!!

also, no, people don't have to accept it. they can choose to be offended if they want. that is their choice. it is one of the difficulties people with vocal tourettes have to deal with.

love the article, and that is really interesting. the fact that people were exhibiting physical tics irl after being exposed to social media is crazy. it doesn't say anything about it affecting their ability to type or post on social media; just that they exhibited tourettes like symptoms irl or on video after watching. this still doesn't satisfy the quest for an article explaining a form of tourettes that the tics are vulgar posts or toxic replies. would still love to see one though.

Well to tell the truth, Canada might have some sort of law regarding accommodations of medical conditions. So a doctor's note could actually help you.
