Since i saw i was mentioned in a quote

I don't think anyone should have more than 2 children unless they can afford it without government assistance

And definitely includes orthodox jews

I think what they want is higher oil prices right now, I think they acted with Hamas + the houtis because sanctions against Russia forced Russia to sell it's oil at far lower prices to mostly the same countries Iran usually sells it's oil to, so Iran was strapped for cash more than what official oil prices would make it appear to be.Not sure if you checked Iran oil exports incr

Yeah, but if they enter open warfare against Israel and its ally their oil production ceases. Bombs dropping on their territory is worst case scenario. I'd think they only want to escalate to a point.

by metsandfinsfan

I think iran does not want hamas to surrender, which is why they haven't

Can see that

Iran has almost no influence on what Hamas ultimately does

you're not subtle in the slightest. that moderation hides behind the "no one reported anything" but somehow finds Trolly's complaint to respond to is the ultimate leolol as far is this forum is concerned

the mod is ridic. BGP might be better but prob not

he does seem pretty good at the job.

Hasidic communities are already in abject poverty and rely on welfare (and welfare fraud) at a rate that far exceeds the general population while purposefully having many children who are destined to be in poverty.Furthermore, their children are denied an education and are instead funneled into private religious schools. They aren’t taught English, so they can never leav

I'd also like to point out that watching your child die of starvation is kind of a harsh punishment for poor financial planning. Even for the people of Gaza, who (I am told) don't care about their children and only have them as part of Arafat's sinister long-term plan to out-baby the Jews.

I don't report posts because I know full well he's not going to do jack **** about the Naziism that's quickly overrunning the forum he moderates. Bowser knows this, he' just floundering around for excuses.

Incredibly, I agree

Sure I agree they want constant mid level chaos not total destruction

for BOIDs in particular

by Trolly McTrollson

No one is ignoring it, the point is simply so stupid it's not worth addressing. Gazans are not having children because Arafat told them to 20 years ago as part of a devious plot any more than the Hasidic Jews are. This is simply what regular-ass people do, they have babies, they get fruitful and multiply. They care about their children.

Today I agree, but for a while they had one of the highest fertility rates ever recording human history (they touched 8), how do you explain that?

Iran has almost no influence on what Hamas ultimately does

Even the different parts of Hamas have little influence on what Hamas ultimately does. Sinwar is definitely in his own zone right now. He's deciding the fate of the Palestinians kind of on his own.

I'm in the middle of a really interesting podcast featuring Ron Dermer from the war cabinet. What's been interesting is his explanation that they don't have any goal of eliminating every single Hamas member (nor do they believe anyone could). Nor do they think they can eliminate the idea of Hamas. Their goal is to rid Hamas of their territorial control (command and control of Gaza).

This is sort of akin to the idea that Nazism as an idea still exists, and there are still Nazis. The Nazis just don't control their own state. I actually think that logic is sound. They believe they have to remove the operational abilities of the remaining battalions to get there.

What's super clear is they're doing it no matter what, no matter which countries ditch them. It's of absolutely zero concern to them if everyone turns their backs on them. I still have to listen to the rest, I'm eager for his take on Canada.

indeed the political leaders in Qatar have little control of the Gazan resistance. but I think the armed resistance is remarkably united far beyond just Hamas. Hamas, Quds, PFLP etc are all working together on this.

the only reason we have these 2 videos is bc a soldier posted it to tiktok to brag and bc a downed drone had the footage.

but this has obv been going on since the beginning of the war. everyone there knows that if you are walking around then there is a good chance you get murdered.

but ya rafiki, tell me more about how civilian deaths are minimized and how this is actually a fight against Hamas.

The consensus so far is that Sinwar's calculation was that he'd get a lot more external buy in and help than he's gotten. He expected a significant multi-front war that largely never materialized. We've been little drips and drabs, but not to the extent they'd hoped for.

I concede the chasids are scamming welfare

Not sure what that has to do with having multiple kids in a country without the ability to live a good like because they don't have american welfare

You can’t figure it out or you refuse to?

I dont think he cares about a multifront war unless it would help with Palestinian liberation. I dont think he expected the attack to succeed to this extent and I think the point of the attack was to take hostages to trade for Palestinian hostages and force concessions.

his main miscalculation was the genocidal nature of Israeli society and the fact that they are happy to trade all of their hostages if it gives them a chance to do a genocide.

people in this thread talked a lot about how Hamas and Palestinians in general do not care their kids. instead we see that it is plainly apparent that not only do most Israeli's not care about the hostages, but many of them prefer they die so they can revel in the genocide.

by Victor

just about every post by the Israeli supporters and Hamas haters is hateful. its not really possible to do either of those things without supporting genocide.

It's not possible to hate a terrorist group whose stated goal is genocide without supporting genocide. Interesting logic there.

Just shows that you don't really care about the people of Gaza, you care about the survival of Hamas.

The average Israeli probably doesn't care about hostages they don't know personally. The actual family members do, which is why they want a deal to get them back. Others are just worried that they or their families will get taken hostage or killed in the future, so they want Hamas taken down. All seems like regular human nature to me.

History is full of the leaders of surrounding countries underestimating the power and willingness of Israel to strike back.
Too bad each leader is too stupid to learn from the past.
