He claims in his last video that if he could make $50 per hour from poker he would play 400hrs per month and retire in 2.5 years. This level of stupidity and ignorance is really unprecedented.
He forgets that with a $50 per hour win rate there is still going to be wild swings up and down. How is he going to play 400hrs per month when he quits for the day every time he loses a single buy-in.
Also it's hilarious how he thinks making $50 per hour he could retire in 2.5 years. It's like he doesn't realise how much people are making in the real world. Guaranteed that a lot of his classmates from law school who he was so much smarter than would be now earning well over $50 per hour.

Trooper used to struggle to make it to the poker room by early afternoon, now he is jumping up at 5am because there isn't enough hours in the day to make all the candy they need to.

Itd be one thing if he was making big money doing this, but like his retirement life isnt a real retirement anyway, he doesnt make enough money to actually ever retire, inflation sadly does effect him, all of these things he thinks, come home to roost. And thats why he is where he is. Hes never going to be able to own a home, hes never going to be able to have a new car, i cant imagine what hell do when his beater breaks down. Hes never going to be able to afford insurance, hes never going to have a social life because that costs money too, nobody wants to hang out and stare at a wall all day with you. Inflation makes his nest egg worth less every year, probably beating any gains in this mythical portfolio if its real, even if its not, its making it relatively just stay equal. He has no skills, its really a bleak outlook for him and its really entirely his fault. His favourite insult is to call people miserable who disagree with him or who question him in the comments. But ironically, by all objective metrics, Rice should be the miserable one. The only thing that is perhaps saving him from that reality is his grandiose delusions and denial.

If Diesel were anywhere near as smart as he thinks, he would start trading. The market opens at 6:30 and closes at 1 pm. He wouldn't even have to trade the whole day. Luck isn't really a factor, the market goes up and down the same for everyone. It treats everyone the same. A smart and disciplined person can make money. What's Diesel's daily nut, about 90 bucks? He could make half of that before 9 am most days and go back to sleep until poker time.

Even once or twice a month for most people. Mariano made almost 26 grand in his last video. For Diesel, once or twice a year would be plenty.
Of course if Diesel had a million dollar roll, he would sit on his 3% dividend and make 30 grand a year by doing nothing.

I haven't really looked in their comments section but Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme are universally well liked not only for their vlog content but you can see they are both genuinely good people how they carry themselves on video and in person.
Then there's Diesel and Trooper who complain about all the haters they get in their videos.

what matters is getting in 50 hours. why play 200/400 in a dream lineup 15 hours a week when you can make 10 dollars an hour in 1/2 nl?

The value of the free garlic, condiments, and bananas that he owns has been a consistent 2x-3x investment.
He just should work at 7/11 already, they always have hiring signs he could work as much as he wants, and will make like 50% more than he currently does
