You have an SPR of 2:1. You have to decide OTF if you want to commit to the hand or give it up. There a ton of Qx and KJ hands that will lolcall you if you just jam the flop. Your flop bet is weak af. You need to be going hard on that flop to put others to the decision.

You're playing 100 bigs. If they have TT or 22, then gg and reload. No big deal.

Once you get this hand heads-up against a likely fish, your mindset should be to continue betting until: 1) A brutally bad turn/river card comes 2) You get raised 3) You have no money left to bet.

35 on flop is good. I don't hate the turn bet as a way to chunk out the rest of villain's assumed $150 left, but it HAS to be followed up with a river jam. So many possible hands to call us on river but check back when we check.

An old podcast by Bart Hanson demonstrates why check/call is almost always a suboptimal river line versus passive players. In short, passive players, loose or tight, just don't value bet your hand for you and/or bluff often enough to make check/call a better river line than either bet/fold or check/fold.

The deuce counterfeits his top two hands and we scoop the pot it was a good card for you. There's also very few deuces in his total range too. I would call the river as played. If you're staying late just to get revenge on a certain player, that's a pretty huge leak that you need to fix immediately. If he showed you his cards preflop you would want him to call anyway so what's

Leak? It's still a game. If someone wants revenge they should do it. Catharsis is plenty worth it.

Stop trolling my man.

OP the most EV advice i can give you is that after you lost this hand you should either get up from the table for awhile or just go home, because you were clearly tilted.
