I am also down for NLHE. I really liked the $25 + $10 bounty format. Distributing the payouts wasn’t as complicated as I thought it was gonna be.
tourney created. 5k chips 100/200 starting level, blinds go up every 5 mins this time. So it shouldn't be a marathon. I hope. Maybe I should make the starting chips 3k.
Edit: made the starting chips 3k. This’ll be a fast one.
Lets say 6:30 pacific, $25 buyin, 5 min blinds (starts at 100/200) with 5k starting chips. WTA if we get less than 5, if 5 or more, 2nd place gets back buyin. If over 7 lets make it 80/20 (probably wont be more than 7)

Steve Goodman was awesome! I'm not sure I ever saw that episode of ACL, but my memory of that year is not terribly clear. Watching it now. Thanks for posting!

got some buddies in seattle who do $50 cash game every couple months
it's done with everyone in a zoom chat and he runs the poker itself over some janky web based hosting thing but it's super easy because no downloads/registration/etc you just click the link and you're in - can ask him about the name of it again if interested

Yeah. There are a lot of similarities with the last months of Warren Zevon's life. I don't have whatever it was that was driving those two guys at that point.
