priced to call in BB with junk

1/3$ playing like a 5/10$ (max buy in 500$)
9- handed pretty late at night 2 or 3am table is deep lowest stack with around 1200$ highest around 3k$ most have around 2k$ pretty much all the winners from other tables just all table changed to this one. Couple of guys are drinking just having fun visitors I would call them. Two mostly winning regs (UTG V1 and HJ V2) and a super tight older passive 60s NIT only aggressive after all cards are out (Button V3). Rest are just rec's that play alot.

I thought this was a pretty interesting hand because of how big the pot got on the flop.

Hero in BB 1, 900$ picks up 4d7d

UTG (MAWG 40's winning reg 2k$eff) opens for 15$
calls around to hero who calls (really wanted to squeeze but just too garbage a hand to do so.)

board is super pretty 5d, 6d, Ac (pot $135)
(hero has plan to check raise this hand even on the double draw)
x, x, UTG (V1 $2k eff) C-bet 25$, fold, fold, fold, HJ (V2 $3k eff) calls, fold, Button (V3 $2.4k eff) calls, fold, Hero 105$, calls around

turn 8c (pot $660)

I've got V3 on most likely with a big ace or possibly a nut flush draw diamonds or at worst a set. We have a possible weak ace from V1 or a mid pocket pair most likely not a set or I would have for sure seen a 4 bet. V2 is a bit trickier and could have A, 7 here improved his hand and I could be at worst chopping with him if he catches up. I cannot really put V2 on much more then a weak Ax or a second/third nut flush draw like a KQ, KJ, QJ, J10 dd.. I've seen V2 raise large on a nut flush draw before on a couple occasions this is his typical line.

Plus so many limpers pre I can't really see any of these guys holding something super nutty. I tank for a while to think about what UTG's plan is here and if I should go big or small here to induce a re-raise. I want to pot control as much as possible but also don't really want make it too cheap to catch with two flush draws on board and most likely a set looking for a pair I mean I cant fold at this point regardless of river right?

Hero ($1789 eff) goes with lets take it down and bets $800, V1 folds, V2 folds, V3 calls ($1.5k eff left) ?!?!?

(pot $2260)
river Kd (just absolutely the most gross card I could have possibly seen)

Hero? (about 1k$ left)

Thought process here is V3 could have ak here and jam yes seriously jam with just top two or a set even though I had a straight and now have a crap end flush. I feel like a check will make him jam me too. I'm 900 or so invested already do I just jam here? Do I bet small... really dont know what to do here I tanked for a good 3 minutes before I made up my mind on what to do. Old guys beady eyes in glasses just staring me down the whole time. I know he has a big hand but does he have a shit big hand is the question like top two or a set.

Help fellas???

The only time you are priced in to call from the BB is when you can check.

If you want to raise the flop, go bigger -- you didn't even match the pot. You should have gone at least $150.

Turn is fine. River sucks, but considering he's a passive nit who will probably only bet with AdXd, just check and see what happens. You can try to bluff him, but I doubt he came this far to fold diamonds, and otherwise you probably have the best hand -- passive nits don't call pre w/ 97.

Edit: Just read your thoughts. If he'll call on turn and jam river w/ AK, he's not a passive nit, he is a major fish, and you should probably check/call -- that's what you get for playing 4d7d.

Question why would I go bigger?? or even make a pot check raise when I am not there yet and I want callers.

On river passive nits can make semi-bluffs from time to time and I wouldn't say by any means he is a fish more like a long time small winning player.

Calling pre is in rec whale territory

Flop c/r sizing is entirely too small

When you play 74s, you need to accept that you're going to get overflushed some of the time.

But did you at least have fun? 😜

loads... after a panic attack lol

I decided to check and V didn't jam actually only bet 700$ which wasn't great but still happy to call off if he had be beat, but I really didn't think he did (a small bet or a jam would have been much more scary). V ends up showing Ad Ks reluctantly tried to get me to show first. Dealer had to make him to show since he was the better. Took my time slow rolled him for being a dick and he muttered something along the lines I can't believe you called with that trash.

Agreed with the above analysis, but if we were on the other side of this

holding AdKs

, I assume it is still the bet/call - call line for the flop&turn right? Should I then check on river facing a check or raise like the V did?

care to elaborate?
