I can't remember if this has already been discussed, but regarding the 16 hours for the poker room, did we all realize that it currently isn't open 24 hours for VLTs lol?

Should definitely be doable. MGM National Harbor gets a 20-40 mixed going all the time, as well as your standard PLO5 and limit Big O, would imagine you can easily get a sort of prime Borgata-esque level of Stud too.

Just Big O so any way not to drive there is good.

Kewl I hope the gaming commish allows Dramaha, Archie etc.

lol yeah the NYC hype thread started in May 2021 and it's still a minimum of 6 months, likely nearly a year, before poker starts.

99% of the time a card room employee says they can't spread a game/stake/format due to gaming, it's just an excuse. Gaming will approve whatever games the room manager compiles the rules for and submits to them. Every game they add means staff needs to be trained on that game. As far as I know, they haven't picked a manager yet so it's really up in the air. If they pick someone from RWC it will likely be the same list of games - Holdem, PLO, Stud/Stud-8, Pineapple. Hopefully they at least add Big O and more stud variants.

Yeah, I'm just curious if we can get them to comment on it, so maybe we could read into their response. As far as I know, they haven't said anything about it since getting the license other then in plans/documents

Still no news on the start of non-poker table games yet from what I can tell? They've only got 22 days left in March to open as planned, but it seems kind of iffy if they haven't even announced a date yet

Apparently word on the street in Vegas is that Resorts World is closing their Vegas Poker Room

While thats not necessarily good i dont see how a city that has a ton of options vs being the only legal game in town for years is really comparable
