Don't we have enough LBs? I'm asking for a friend. Or is it that Calafiori is made of glass, or do we want him and MLS to play further up the pitch? Hence, we have makeshift winger support.
Not good ones, no. MLS is only 18 and is a repurposed MF which is where he's destined to play long term probably. He doesn't give any width on the LHS. Cala is injury prone and is better suited to LCB and isn't comfortable defending in LB against good attackers imo. Zinny is a busted flush. Kiwior is much better at LCB and the assumption is we'll sell him to bring this guy in.

Kiwior and Zinchenko are goners. Which is a bit of a bummer for Kiwior - I think he helped us a bunch. Zinchenko was never a real LB really - he always sucked at defense.

The midfield haven't been addressed. Im sure Amorim knows Casemiro is not gonna be the one to drive a whole season from there.

they already have a guy who cant pass and only kicks people.
problem is with amorims system he plays bruno out of position, and thus only has room for 1 midfielder. you probably need a unicorn type guy to make that work as opposed to altering systems to a 4-2-3-1 where you can have bruno at the 10 hero balling with a pivot behind him.

Because nobody wants to buy Casemiro and he has no reason to leave until his contract is up next summer. I’d imagine he won’t be seeing much playing time going forward (or at least hope he won’t).
I badly hope that United make a move for an energetic CM by the end of the window. But some of that may well come down to outgoings from players who have **** attitudes
