POG PUB 2025-2026: About damn time. For a lot of things. But not everything.
Happy New Year, everyone.
I'll let you all mentally fill in the categories in the title.
Well...
I now have quite the collection of ladders.
1ft step ladder
3ft step ladder
4ft step ladder (cosco ladder bought at Costco - awesome)
8ft step ladder (my 90% go to ladder)
16ft adjustable steel ladder/scaffolding
18ft adjustable aluminum ladder (above link)
I don't use the steel one as much because of weight and so unwieldy. I'm hoping the 18ft solves this.
I could fit all of them at the same time in my tesla. :p lol
jfc mark is adult AF!
mark it never ceases to amaze me that you are the most adult of all of us, but have the diet of a 12 year old
and he loves Harry Potter video game.
mark is kind of like a dog, in the best way, just blissfully happy and optimistic. except if the dog was a Nazi dog
but not a German shepherd, those dogs are too serious, and dangerous. mark is more playfully fascist
lucky! both of you
One man's drill is another man's Dremel. :p
Yeah you use a tool like that when you need to seriously knock something loose. When things have been stuck for a while they often need repeated hammering.
Lots of times you just need light screwing so grab the milwaukee 2401-20 M12 screwdriver. Good constant torque to drive the screw deep and set it flush.
If you need heavier screwing or light drilling grab a 3/8 drill-driver. For even heavier drilling we might have to strap it down and use the drill press.
Brunch today, and at a price that even MarkK might approve of:

frozen veggie patty: 4/4.97= 1.25
hamburger bun : 8/1.29 = 0.16
egg: 12/4.65 = 0.39
small red onion: 6/1.49 = 0.25
mushrooms: 1 oz@8/1.89 = 0.24
frozen fries 1/8 [email protected] = 0.37
1/2 small butternut squash = 0.45
=3.11
I paired it with a very nice 2026 vintage of clear american wild cherry sparkling water for 84 cents. My burger with caramelized onions, mushrooms, sunny side up egg, potatoes, and butternut squash. Not pictured: apple cole slaw which worked out to an extra 50 cents.
Internet says you can't do smash burgers in non stick pans but this is a lie. You just have to change your method a bit.
I do mine on medium heat which is about 330 F smash like normal and cook on one side until almost all the way cooked through then flip cook a few seconds take off. There should be minimal splatter of oil or smoke from the pan. Then if you don't have enough craggles for your liking after you cook your burgers you come back and redo the craggle side for a bit until you get it as craggly as you like (pseudo reverse seer method). The burger ends up overcooked but we don't care about that for smashed burgers. Look at all that craggly goodness.

I'll pay double for that!
I might pay a $100 if it was marketed as some bougie experience
I would kill for that
