Happy New Year, everyone.

I'll let you all mentally fill in the categories in the title.

I also put Amp in that category. Just shifty enough... And good with the misdirect. 😀

I did consider attending the Culinary Institute of America.

Top 5 Smoke Spots in my house:

Recliner: the classic. Put on a YouTube video, doomscroll, doomsmoke.

Garage: tons of activities available, can always run the blower or organize crap.

Front porch: surveillance position

Back porch: escape surveillance, watch dogs pee

Smokeless Firepit: 13/10 stare at the fire

I am feeling very dizzy and sick today. In the event of my death, here is a record of everything I ate today (note that there is lots of leftover soup if anyone wants to come by, check on my cat, and have a bowl of soup on me--I also have leftover rigatoni with tomato and teriyaki tofu with bok choi in the fridge that should be eaten up.)

I'm not eating any death soup

I will. Where in Kansas??

I can take the cat.

I been looking for a good way out. soup feast at vr's place!

I'm not currently in Kansas. On the MO side of the line.

Close enough. I’m in Oklahoma. See you in the morning 😉

Sounds great. If I'm alive, my menu plan for tomorrow's breakfast was a banana and mixed berry smoothie with orange juice and hemp hearts, followed by roasted sweet potatoes topped with a black lentil chipotle chili. Will those work or would you prefer a more traditional breakfast? I can bake apple spice muffins if you'd rather.

These Oklahomans always arrive sooner than expected.

Voracious, do you self-identify as a Kansan or a Missourian?
I'm back in MO myself but now I consider myself a misplaced Texan.

I think of myself as a Kansan.

Oh my god… hold on, let me cancel all my plans 😃

Sounds like we have the opportunity to create the most cursed pog meet up of all time rofl

death soup meet up in mo

Here is a joke my brain made up to amuse me whilst I was preparing lunch for the dogs.

I'm going to start a YouTube channel where I strike bells with a handgun and talk fast. It will be called Glock and Spiel

I bet that joke is funny if I was smart enough to get it.

Needs work. Something there though

Maybe spiel like play games but maybe fewer people would get it

GLOCK is an Austrian semi-automatic handgun.

Spiel is a pat speech, like a salesman will give you a spiel about a used car. Sounds like shpiel.

Glockenspeil is a percussion instrument similar to a xylophone.

ah thanks!!! yes, it is clever. I knew it was!

Pog should do another Vegas meetup like they did that one time, even soah came.

My Amp thought of the day:

by Mark_K

My Amp thought of the day:

Butler? Nuclear Luddite.

Those who have read God Emperor know.

Which reminds me of Precious Hwi who iirc was OrangeRake.

I spent my day with Claude Opus 4.6

We used Ubuntu cloud image as a new base for kubernetes worker nodes on eks hybrid, (were previously using bottlerocket on vsphere), loaded that into my new poc Proxmox hypervisor, then end-to-end automated new aws ssm registrations, vm creation, kubernetes node registration, and life cycle management in one bash script.

This would take weeks without Claude. We got it done in two hours. This is why I get the medium bucks.
