Checking Poker Atlas, they got three games going with no list. Got to 2 games maybe 3-4 hours later and down to 1 last I checked after midnight.

ELD reports the Bally's promo is moot. ELD states that employees cannot play in promos. ELD states he moved his shift back two hours at PH to get in a meal at the EDR and to prevent schedule conflicts. ELD is again dressed in business attire but failed to indicate what method of Nomadic laundry he employed to re-wear the same outfit two days in a row.

ELD states his schedule is brutal and he is worried about sleep deprivation.

Trooper makes an appearance outside Bellagio and ELD cancels his lunch to speak with Trooper.

ELD takes the monorail to Sahara to get the balance of his comps which he has $197 in comps. He envisions ordering pizza with comps and delivering and resale of pizzas at MGM via the monorail. ELD is hustling to obtain early retirement and financial independence. ELD also records himself cashing out $14 in Westgate comps via video poker during his North Strip monorail trip.

Moreover, ELD reports two other employees failed to follow the dress code rubric and no adverse action was taken against them. ELD states his frustration with buying new shoes and wearing his white dress shirt.

It should be noted that ELD's t-shirt has a hole in it and thus the white dress shirt covers the t-shirt with a hole in it.

ELD then eats a pizza and a plate of wings back at his Harrah's room.

The only thing that Rice is obsessed about is saving a dollar or two. If the price to pay is healthwise or through some of the worst diet ever, he is gonna do it.

I would bet he would have lived on dogfood/catfood if he had to in order to stay in the game as a breakeven 1/2 NL promogrinder.

The dealing gig is likely gonna make Rice eat significantly better due to the EDR when he is at work, compared to the lolz when he was a promogrinder living belov povertywage for the past years.

Edit: My god that pizza from Westgate looks absolutely disgusting.

Another thing that strikes me is that the eating habbits of Rice its just like an hamster. He seems to starve himself for days, and then absolutely demolish the plates when he gets hold of some big portion meals. Either from comps used on bufeet or this nasty Westgate pizza, or even better when Herbs/Rye treats him with a free resturant meal.

Man, he just destroyed that huge pizza+ a good portion of wings right after. He is demolishing the food like he dont know when he is gonna be eating next time.

Rice have claimed in earlier videos that he doesent starve himself in order to save money on food, but its pretty clear that exactly what he is doing.

Here is one of the MANY things that I don't "grok" about Trooper & El Diesel.

They are in Vegas to play & win money at poker?

If so, then they should be WINNING MONEY! El Diesel is especially miserable as his hourly rate for the last month is sub $2/hour! Go back further than that, and while El Diesel's win rate was better, it was not anything significant.

Trooper, while a breakeven or slightly losing player, will have swings larger than that, but even those swings are generally not that big, EXCEPT for his losses.

I am playing 1/3 in the midwest. I am a long term winning player. I am not making anything near enough to live off of, but it is a solidly profitable hobby.

The VAST majority of my sessions will have 3 digit swings. For example, last night, I bought in a bit short at $275 and I walked away UP $248. The time before that I had a blow out & was -$300. Prior to that I was up $490.

I will frequently have 3-4-5 winning sessions in a row.

I will never lose four digit figures (never buy in for more than $500 total), but almost 8% of the time (1 in 12), I can have a $1,000+ win.

I can't recall El Diesel EVER having a 4 digit win. It appears that the vast majority of his wins are like $40 or $70.

SO where I am going with this, is that perhaps Vegas is perhaps NOT the place to play for low stakes?

Could it be that Trooper's & El Diesel's ego is interfering with their game? That they so desperately want to be a "Las Vegas Pro" that they will play in poor rooms/games? This was doubly true for El Diesel. It was the only way for him to cope with his life outcome.

I would posit that perhaps, the real action for low level games is in Texas, Midwest & Florida perhaps? OUTSIDE OF VEGAS. That this action is on weekends, and generally at night, especially later in the evening.

It seems that El Diesel has finally come to this realization, and has started dealing. HOWEVER, even with dealing, he very well might be able to KEEP a lot more of his income by dealing poker in a low cost living area. Vegas is definitely NOT low cost living at this point. Could El Diesel actually get to keep MORE of his $$$ by dealing in Columbus OH or Toledo? Those are very low cost areas when compared to Vegas.

Of course, I am making the mistake that these guys would rationally think about what they are doing!

If he bought them at Walmart he is lucky he got the entire summer out of them.

Heart palpitations, fatigue early in the evening, and can't sleep.

Maybe T should cut back on the 1,000 milligrams of caffeine a day to save his health and money.

I have a co-worker that chugs the coffee, and suffers from debilitating migraines, missing a lot of work. Even though I don't drink coffee, I drank cokes, etc, and also got said migraines. Until I read a paper from Stanford that theorized some kinds of migraines might be caused by caffeine, among other things. I cut out caffeinated sodas, and the occurrence of my migraines went WAY down.

I told my co-worker all this. Nope, he refuses to give up coffee, even as an experiment.
