Unfinished business as in he didn’t go completely broke from poker?
Just my opinion but I think he knows long term he's going to come out a winner in that game. From the very little I've watched of games he's in, seems like there are a lot of spewing players that just like throwing money around.
A lot of it is "you have to give action to get action" and he says so. I think he's won nearly a million this year so far, so it seems to work for him.
He is a player trying to make it as a poker pro. He started as part of Next Gen poker. They put out good videos mostly from the Dallas area. Then Frankie played in Vegas, lost a hand to Kitty Kuo. She is probably close to twice his age. She got pregnant. Now they have a son. He is supposed to play a $100k (I believe) heads up match with DNegs. Plus he now has Kitty ro back him

If someone lived their life by the mantra what would rice do.... then did the opposite I'm sure they would do just fine

So Trooper's vlog today was for Sunday, and the vlog prior to this was for Trooper Thursday.
Putting two and two together, Trooper took Friday and Saturday off from playing poker.
That's a tough way to build your bankroll.

So candy business goes under cause they spent tens of thousand on equipment and related expenses to produce items that sell for around $10 with a profit margin of at least 50% but who knows cause they never did a cost analysis.
Now they are tackling the clothing business using branded items from a third party company.
They really want to torch of the rest of their money, wherever it came from.
When your whole business plan to sell mostly to your viewer base when you have less than 60k subs and out of that, less than 10k views, you just aren't going to be successful. You have to have wide ranging appeal which of course Trooper doesn't have and that's ok.
Can't wait to see the number of tables Trooper's mug brings to Venetian and if it'll be a recurring thing.

With Trooper I think it’s more just laziness than fear of losing.
He’s drawing dead in his comeback to poker if he’s only willing to put in 15-20 hrs a week, and he knows this.
He just has to keep up the charade that he’s a poker player in order to make videos, arrange meet up games, sell hats, etc
I mean, it is better not to lose $400+ in a session, it's not a badge of honor. but if you have plenty of +$300 sessions then it's easy to bounce back.
if your only wins are $5 to $80 and then you have a $400 bust then yeah it's a hole that will take years to dig out of
I played a wild game with lots of bomb pots this week and lost $500 which was one my worst sessions ever. but 2 weeks ago in the same game I profited over $1100 so I'm not crushed.
I also have a full time job and can afford laundry

Trooper taking a "day off" is like an unemployed bum taking a day off. A day off from what exactly? The most he ever plays is 3 hours so not sure what he's so burnt out from. It's not like he can complain about making and selling candy anymore.

Based on how he maintains himself (beard) I would guess $4.25 for the year. But for 3 months in the winter his Mommy does it for him. God bless her patience.

I know you want to just attack things out of context but the previous time I played I won +$1140 in three hours. I put that in the same post.
my last short trip in Vegas I had two +$700 sessions
my worst sessions ever was -$720 at Venetian, and that was right before (same day) final tabling a Wynn tourney for $6600
Rice would win in a landslide for Most Arrogant Loser.
Considering he was controversially ignored for the GPI awards. I guess the judges/voters didn't follow the rubric strictly enough. Rice has made more videos from parking garages than all the GPI winners combined so therefore he was more deserving than them.
