Lol I love how Diesel defends his miniscule win rate by pointing out how everyone is wrong cause it's not exact down to the penny. Yet in his six day wrap up so far of his seven day challenge, not surprisingly his win rate is in line to what it has been for years.

He's so proud of keeping his losing pots with coolers small without realizing that limits his upside when he has the best hand.

Also funny while this is a one session sample, he did best at Encore where you'll find the best game most often while the 1-3 is also a $500 cap yet he hardly plays there cause there's no promos. Weird weird.

No worries though cause after this, I'm sure he'll choose to grind at the best room possible. Horseshoe with their promo nits and his single digit hourly.

Have watched a couple from him. Agree there is alot of stuff that smells quite fishy. He seems to be little bit full of himself, wich i dont like. Also he basically doesent seem to have losing sessions while at the same time claims to have a huge winrate in his bread/butter Wynn 2-5 game, and seems to take huge pride in this whenever he talks about the subject.

Except its not possible to not have big losing sessions as well if you are crushing the games and have a big winrate longterm. Variance will be very nasty eventually,its not just something you can choose to skip. I meran if its one thing the biggest winners/crushers in the games i have met through the years have in common, it is that they have big swings both ups and downs because they are maxmizing their EV not passing up on spots.

I get the feeling he is manipulating his session results by cutting sessions short whenever he is up a solid amount for the night,just to book a win and get long streaks of winning sessions going for the books. He also talks alot about not wanting to play longer sessions than 4 hours due to going on tilt or drop from his A-game alot so story checks out i guess.

He simply doesn’t possess the proper hygiene or wardrobe to regularly attend games at the posh Encore. The (homeless) man owns 1, maybe 2 shirts that contain a collar and/or any buttons. He probably strolled inside there with his finest XXXL basketball shorts that day too. Then combine that with his extremely frugal risk averse mentality and understand why deep stack games vs opponents with larger pockets completely scare the poor guy. He’s a super nitty promo grinder and majority of his brain dead viewers fail to comprehend that fact.

def not the case in this poker room. for the most part its the same 4-6 pros, 2-3 regs, and the occasional unknown fish. and this is a 5/10 game.

you are comparing apples and alligators. we are talking about "poker pros" grinding 1/3 in Vegas during normal business hours as a terribly unsustainable plan for a career and you jump in to say "that's not true, I play in a 5/10 game in the Midwest that is full of rich pros that all crush"

Yes, a bit. He's a little full of himself for being a bit of hit n run artist. He's taken winrate shots at Marc Goone from Hungry Horse Poker during Marc's $100/hr 5-5 challenge, but conveniently left out that Marc played more hours in his challenge than Aero has probably played in a year. He also tries too hard to be funny. I'm guessing he's using his skewed hourly and student interviews to grow a poker coach business.

Long ago Rice said that Trooper prefers dingier poker rooms, and being the huge Trooper fanboy that Rice is, he said that he agreed with Trooper. Plus Rice knows that deeper games have bigger variance, so that's another hit against the Wynn for him. Not to mention, yeah, no promos for him as a promo grinder.

I've had a similar 4 hour rule for the last 40 years, except mine is to limit losses, as my game is C -. Still not a bad rule to have, especially as a rec player.
