It's a little honeypot if you have the roll to sustain the losses until you start bringing in 15k/month from those YouTube direct deposits. The rate at which I've seen scribscribers tip and donate to the live vlogs is crazy. It really softens the blow on those eventual big losses and more than covers the small ones.

while every room has mis regs who kill their own games, vegas regs are probably the worst in the country as far as killing their own games. Way too many simply don't "get it" when it comes to live poker. They also tend to take some perverse pride in being "Vegas pros". I'm not sure why this is exactly. It could be that Vegas until recently had a cheap cost of living/low rake so it attracted the mega nits who wouldn't afford to be pros elsewhere. It could be the transient nature of Vegas so they don't care about keeping fish happy since they'll generally only played with the same fish once or twice. It could be several factors I'm not thinking of. But I know most of them are **** to play with.

If given the choice b/w playing 2/5 nl in typical vegas games with the vegas local nits and grinding +ev slots I'd much rather grind the slots. And I'd have to actually learn how to grind +ev slots.

The ones I've seen, and I thought they were just ordinary progressives, were in quarter denominations. The average person just doesn't think they're worth the trouble. You might have to put in hundreds of hours to win a few hundred bucks more than expectation. I remember several years ago when there were still +EV vp machines. Stardust had 2 of them, which were almost alway occupied. But they were quarter machines, which would pay $1000.00 on a royal at normal ev, these were paying a couple-three hundred more.

I played them for a little while and all I can say is, quarters suck. You're looking at the machine and wishing and hoping for... twelve hundred bucks, lol.

It's a nice payout but it's not worth all the extra work.

I find it hilarious how people will post video evidence of them driving recklessly on social media. Then double down and say oh I'm not risking anyone else's lives but my own by doing 100 mph on a motorcycle.
