2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Redraft question that I’m curious about…
Assume 0.5 PPR, 1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE/1FLX/1K/1DEF, 16 total roster spots.
Assume Chase goes 1.01.
You have the 1.02. Do you take your top ranked RB, or your next best ranked WR? I assume folks have different preferences for e.g. Bijan vs Gibbs, so I’m trying to pose this more as a structural question, given it’s 0.5 PPR (which should favor RBs over WRs) but need to start 3 WRs (which should favor WRs over RBs).
FWIW, I have a player that I clearly favor at 1.02 but want to make sure I’m considering the RB-vs-WR element correctly.

Take your guy .
The unpredictability, the fake ADPs, the constantly changing news that may or may not be legit, etc. It’s just a very reactionary market, and I feel like it’s easier to draft quality high ceiling teams in predictable markets. The draft pockets are stagnant and you know how to attack it and let the variance fall where it falls.
I think August lends to potentially higher ceiling teams. But I think my average team drafted in August has a lower ceiling than a June team.
I could also be completely off base haha.
Watching the WR pocket from the mid 6 to mid 7 evaporate hasn’t been fun either
Came across this random post and notice Shaidy. He is absurd. What if the sims are right?
I hope you all grabbed a bunch of Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant when you could.
It's fine at WR. You'll likely end up with 7-8 and I'd just avoid any with week 10 byes at that point so you'll have 4-5 guys that can cover the gap in week 10.
RB is a different story. If my first 3 RBs were going to have the same bye, then I'd rather it be a late season bye. Where at least I know there's a chance one of my other 2-3 guys might be starting at that point.
Achane, Hampton, Harvey (Week 12) > Jacobs, Swift, Kaleb (Week 5)
It's the last round. You would like a 6th RB. Who do you take?
Tahj Brooks
Kareem Hunt
Justice Hill
Brashard
Or do you take Troy Franklin as a number 8 WR?
My RBs are
CMC, Swift, Benson, B Allen, J Wright
Brooks > Hill > Brashard >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hunt
Not my most stacked up team, but got a ton of value
Fields, JJM, Darnold
Conner, Monty, Mason, Blue, Tuten, Brooks
Nabers, AJB, JSN, Rome, Jennings, Mims, Horton
McBride, Chig
Naked Herbert and light Tua stack is not my favorite, but both were 1.5rds past ADP
Allen, Herbert, Tua
Breece, Brob, Mixon, White, Wright, Ty Johnson
CD, AJB, Jamo, Rome, Olave, Keon
Loveland, Goedert, Waller
One thing I want to do a lot more of next season now that I have a feel for the types of contests UD is rolling out is leverage my exposures across different contests.
I'm going to do it now with the new Pom by hard fading my highest owned teams (MIA, KC, and DAL), and drafting more Saquon where I can to leverage off my highest owned player (Shipley).
Goff, Love, Penix
Gibbs, Kyren, Breece, Warren, Marks
London, Worthy, Flowers, Deebo, Pittman, Doubs, TeSlaa
Kraft, Otton, Theo
Feel like there’s a ton of crazy value in the puppy today
I don’t know how to evaluate any offensive players against this truly embarrassing bengals defense
Dynasty league .5 ppr. We trading Jameson Williams and 2 2027 firsts for Rashee Rice ?
