.5 ppr 12 team dynasty-ish league where you can keep 7 players for as long as you want for free. Start qb/ 2rb/ 3wr/ 2flex/ te

I have way too many good players and I’m leaning towards keeping these 7:

Jayden Daniels
Saquon, Achane
AJB, Amon-ra st brown, garret wilson
Bowers

…which means I let these guys go into the draft pool:

Stroud, hurts
Josh Jacobs, Aaron jones
Jayden Reed
Hockenson

Closest I've been in a while...

Hey newguy:

-If you had to do this over, would you ever consider Burrow at the 4/5 turn?
-The way it played out, Goff was available at the 6/7 turn, and you could have a DET stack - is that worth it, or no way you reach that much for him?

Curious about taking guys at/above ADP for stacking purposes vs. drafting for pure player value in BB.

On UD, I don't really like reaching for QBs, especially for guys that are pure pocket passers like Burrow and Goff.

That said, Burrow at the 4/5 isn't terrible (I actually believe that Burrow/Baker team I posted is a 4/5 Burrow).

Goff at the 6/7, on the other hand, would be pretty bad. He's often available at the 10/11.

There's plenty of opinions out there on this, but at some point, ADP150-170+, it just becomes one big flat tier, and value itself isn't as important as it is earlier in the draft.

So totally fine to make big reaches at that point for players you like or stacks you want/need.

The only things I take into consideration are

1. How much do I need this player? A WR to go with an unstacked QB is worth more than some player you really like.

2. Am I possibly missing out on a player that's a better fit for my team? A good example is let's say you have a 0RB team with a TLaw/BTJ stack. You've got a 3-4-6-1 team and are picking at 170. Completely okay to reach for Dyami at that point (ADP 184), but I wouldn't, because a TE or RB is going to be a much better fit. So I would pass and then hope he makes it back to me at 190, which he often does.

This was a weird room. Multiple ppl were doing insane stuff which led to some crazy ADP values…

Allen, Caleb (126), Tlaw (163) drafted him naked, but 30 picks past ADP seems crazy to pass

Chuba, Monty, Mixon (102), Blue, White (187), Roschon

JJ, AJB, Pickens, Egbuka, Shakir, Burden (139)

Loveland, Ertz, Sanders

What a great "problem" to have!

Probably going to be a lot more 2-7-7-2 or 2-6-8-2 from here on out. Just too many late round RB/WR that I want to get.

Good. Only thing is I would have made one of Thornton or Noel a vet like Dyami or Slayton. I don't know if that WR room is strong enough to support 3 rookies.

Maye, TLaw

Achane, Henderson, ETN, Allgeier, Spears, Ford, Corum

BTJ, Pickens, Hunter, Olave, Diggs, Burden, ADM

Loveland, Chig

More JCM.

I’ve already been trying to snag him in every draft . He’s gonna be a league winner for where he goes.

Looks like Caleb in the 120s is dead

I took him at 104 earlier today lol

What about 2 rookies?

What about 2 rookies?

Sure, that's probably better. I think 3 is still fine if one of them was like Tet or Golden. Guys that could easily be their teams #1

My logic in grabbing rookies was that I needed disproportionate upside vs draft slot given how behind I was at wr. Maybe incorrect way to think about it though. It’s completely possible getting more locked in points is more important in that spot

Sounds reasonable.

Hot take: drafting in August is way harder than drafting in June.

Haha why?
