Granted it would take getting dealt pocket aces twice in a short session and having them but cracked -but the meltdown he would have if he lost more in one day playing than he made from work that day would be incredible.
Before I retired, I would have had to have worked a whole 1.6416666667 hours to match Rice's haul of $197, but I'm a miserable loser without an Ivy League education. I do, however, own several box spring mattresses.

If you had his single digit hourly, you'd hide it too. Plus it's easier to not admit that's the reason why he "chose" to deal poker for income. It wasn't just burn out as he's said is the reason he's transitioning away from playing poker to dealing poker.
A couple years ago he complained a few times that poker in Vegas wasn't good like it used to be several years ago and prior. Meaning, the last few years he didn't make what he used to make. Basically admitting that his single digit hourly was the reason for his poker burn-out. I believe his "The State of Poker in Las Vegas" video also had that complaint. The funny thing about that one was that he only played 1-2 and 1-3 NLH, yet, by the video's title, apparently he felt qualified to be able to comment on the state of ALL poker in Las Vegas. Although he really has little to no experience playing 2-5 and higher NLH games, Limit Holdem games, Omaha games and the Mixed games in Las Vegas lol. The delusional buffoon is a legend in his own mind.

In today's video ELD walks down the steps of Balley's to cross Flamingo and there is a Nomad sleeping on the steps.
ELD crosses illegally and a car honks at ELD as he is crossing Flamingo from Bally's to Cromwell.
ELD states the car honking at him should not be driving.
ELD states he prefers the Harrah's parking garage and does not like the Linq (both garages) and does not like the Flamingo parking garage.
If ELD stays Nomadically in Excalibur then he can walk in air conditioning by transiting through NYNY to Park MGM-Aria and then via the Crystals Mall to Cosmo and then to PH.
Or ELD can park directly at Cosmo to walk to PH.
ELD praises the Linq employee weight room as superior to Harrah's guest weight room.
ELD plans on having his student loan paid off by the end of 2026 and will have his his debt paid prior to the CET student loan benefits.
ELD then walks around the Flamingo Habitat and recounts he impressed a player since ELD used his Nomadic knowledge regarding how to get to Sherman, Texas, the player's hometown.
Wow. Can't wait to watch that.

Not shocking whatsoever as I did fall under the strong impression many months ago that student loans were definitely attached to his overall resentment towards the whole college /education grift that took decades of his life. What Fat Zach didn’t learn during his multiple stints at various universities that networking reigns supreme towards future success and employment. He had very limited previous employment history with couple temporary FT jobs that hardly consisted of a career such as UPS. His extremely haggard and frugal lifestyle is not only a testament to his very cheap (with no attention or concern for quality) demeanor but also a byproduct of limited funds, savings, previous capital, equity, etc. This was around the same time that a couple of us concluded that his phone, car insurance, maintenance, etc were being floated by his parents and he does not have any health insurance which is exactly like his hero Trooper. With this recent disclosure of possessing current student loans to be paid off in next year or two; anybody that still think that Diesel has 6 figure portfolio is beyond delusional.

My guess is that he probably was very close to being totally broke after he lost the 160 in that hand.
When you overreact in such a way he did its often reasons within lifesituation for example personal economy that is the trigger.
He also ended up leaving Vegas for months after that hand,so he totally lost it. Maybe that hand was the last straw on the camels back and made Rice realize he cant play poker for a living anymore.

Hilarious how Rice doesn't realise how close he is to being like the homeless nomads sleeping on the streets. The mental gymnastics required in order to continue believing that he is doing well in life when he walks into that tiny little room he calls his home is truly remarkable.

You can tell that Twatts has been running pure by his reaction to that pretty standard $1500 loss on the last play. It's amazing he hasn't been burnt way worse than that several times already, especially given the numbers he likes to play. I have also been wondering what he is doing there whenever he mentions he has to drop by the weightroom.
When it is to refill his waterbottle he proudly shows that in the video.
But i suspect its something else now that he is more careful about not telling us,likely because he knows it doesent look good on his part.
