I believe that Johnny Marr is the “Anti-Morrissey”, put into the world to save us from that evil stupid bastard. If I had come up with the riff to “Some girls are bigger than others” and found out what that **** had done with it what I would have done to the arsehole would make Dexter look like a Sesame Street segment

i miss rebelp, this is a touchstone for me i regularly find by searching "marr" itt

and goodnight sweet princes of the felt, you kings of degeneracy

Studio: There's a section about 2:45 in that had me thinking about Little Feat.

Live: There was this one day back during the Pandemic when I started this in about five or six windows each separated by mere seconds and proceeded to simultaneously listen to all of them through my ear buds. It fit the time.

How come I never heard of this guy? I consider myself well versed on old time rock 'n roll and Kip eludes me. I like it and will look to further explore!

LOVE that... I see my next CD purchase. Elwood Westertson Smith

Holy Cow... his discography is TINY:

I can't wait for the rockabilly weekend at the Orleans.

I hadn't either until yesterday when youtube threw that up at me, along with a lot of other obscure strange old country/rockabilly. I think it started from one I was playing, kudzudemon linked it here years ago: Psycho by Eddie Noack.

Heh, Elwood Westertson Smith would need a stage name for sure. Just looked up that Orleans thing, I might try that.
