was really tough leaving out comedies but at the end of the day figured even those which are perfectly crafted and infinitely rewatchable, the art is in the comedy and not in the film itself

been forced to endure the various buddies films

they are low budget disney films where they film a bunch of golden retriever puppies and then use cgi to make their mouths move and have them talk

the buddies are all brother and sister but all have their own unique ethnic accents

i know because it's disney it's trying to be inclusive, but it just comes off as super patronizing having one dog always say "fo shizzle my nizzle"

ahahahaha that sounds awful

Mine liked it more than me and I loved it.

Arrival is amazing.

And many many films make me tear up lol

Yeah if only two films make you tear up, I’m just gonna think you haven’t seen many movies.

Hell, I had to hold back from bawling at a scene in 28 Years Later

I'm stoic, and I've seen thousands of movies, and probably more than most here.

As an example, I've seen 99 of the top 100 films in the recent Sight and Sound Poll. I'm missing The Leopard.
