Fanduel's original Dinger Tuesday promotion was one of a kind, and hugely profitable for bettors.

Bet $25 on any player to hit a HR in a game, and receive $5 in bonus bets for every home run hit in the game (up to $25 total), Every game was eligible and you could bet on 1 player in each game that Tuesday. So up to 10-13 bets. If you picked well, you could double your money and win a couple hundred in free bets.

Nine Mets have more than 50 ABs this year. Only one has an OPS over .700. To put that in perspective, the Royals have the worst record in the AL, and they have five players with more than 50 ABs, and an OPS over .700.

Mets will win tonight. They are finally in last place after the Royals won last night, so now they are due for an 8 game winning streak, and it's all the Royals' fault if that happens.

It is strange seeing someone like an almost Sandy Alomar jr. as a 1st base coach for the Cle. Not sure why I assumed he would just take it easy. Dude has baseball in his blood. Right up there with the Ripkens and Molinas.

I avoid Stephen A content at all costs, but the ESPN home page is trying to suck me in by posting a minute and a half long clip with the tag: "Stephen A: The Mets are a 'national disgrace'."
