English Football Season 2025-2026. Here we go again.
Welcome 2+2 to the English football season of 2025-2026.
This year I am going to make the thread officially for all of E
I saw Liverpool go to the Emirates that same year 23-24 without Salah and Van Dyke against a full Arsenal squad and win 2-0. Kudos to your selective memory ability of course.
At the end of the day you either win or you lose and supporters of teams who havent won trophies in the longest times usually are the ones who stray from that concept.
Arsenal played a slightly weaker side and were incredibly unlucky to not blow the doors off liverpool in the first few minutes. the 3-1 game a few weeks later was pretty much the exact same game except in that game arsenal were only mildly unlucky to not win by more instead of being extremely unlucky like in the cup game.

You're certainly entitled to have your opinion but it's very important to understand that your opinion is extremely stupid and wrong in every way possible.
Maybe I’m too ambitious but I don’t like this from Arsenal at all. I think Liverpool were there for the taking yet we couldn’t produce a higher .xG than Bournemouth.
I do agree with the last point. I also think that this Liverpool team will be worse than last year.
Losing saliba likely hurt our build up quite a bit (and kudos for mosquera for deputizing admirably in a tough spot). I've been a martinelli stan for a while, but man that was a painful watch, he was a complete zero in possession and killed a bunch of what could of been really dangerous attacks. Not having your main press leaders (kai and odegaard) really hurts the ability to play aggro/on the front foot. It's very valid to have questions if arteta would be more aggro if he had his ideal lineup, but ignoring the injuries forcing him to be more pragmatic is just lazy and intellectually dishonest.
After not managing to produce 0.5 xg against Bmouth. Looool
At least you didnt spend a lot I guess.

maddison, son, deki and solanke combined output last season was 49 goals and 42 assists in all comps, so ravaged by injuries is my explanation for saturdays performance
erik bin bag is about to get sacked by leverkusen. terrible decision as i put a tenner on leverkusen to get relegated @1001 two weeks ago
If I had any complaints it would be they probably should bring on eze at half for martinelli. Both teams played incredibly well defensively. The arsenal were too conservative analysis is a little overblown even if there is some truth to it. Lets not forget liverpool at anfield vs an arsenal team missing 3 starting attackers, and their star cb getting injured in the first few m
And then you go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like Arsenal are the best team in the league.

When we don't have Saka we are cooked. Lego Pep not changing Fartinelli at halftime is a bigger crime than him not jumping on Plop who havent showed up for 55 minutes.
BinBag really living my dream. 3 years of work - 40million collected. Ajax pumped by 300million from United. Probably getting like a sporting director role there once he is done sucking as a manager.
(i also have a small wager on Leverkusen finishing bottom half so I hope he holds on a bit longer).
Sancho to Villa confirmed. Grealish/Sancho power double midfield in FPL
Hey Nonny Nonny played well yesterday. Bin Saka off to Madrid for decatrillions where he can nurse his hammy. Probably.

Nonny was not bad at all.
Dont know what Martinelli has on Lego Pep, struggling to come up with explanations as to why he is starting so consistently.
BinBag binned after 2 games. Rip my bottom half bet. Whan an absolute legend btw. This must be an unspeakable payday just 2 games in.
Bin Bag goat OAT.
Dismissed after two games is hilarious. It must be more than just two bad results.
The next club to hire Ten Hag should negotiate a 1 month contract
I can't come back with a good argument so I chose to laugh at Spurs instead
United signs a belgian goalkeeper. I guess he is already their best.
Nelson to Brentford after Wissa to Newcastle is agreed. There might be some more dominos falling today.
Kiwior joins Porto on loan with obligation to buy. Gg Kiwior, your last few games and effort will not be forgotten.
Ten Hag sacked 3 games in. Mourinho and ogs sacked earlier this week.
Man U curse is real.

This is an absolutely awful look from Leverkusen.
Ole, Mourinho and ETH all sacked within the last seven days. Maybe this is the universe trying to get them to join forces to come back and save United.
Elliott to Villa seems an ok business for both parties. That should give some much needed boost to the Lions

It’s insane having sold 7-8 starters and only 2 games into the new Bundesliga season, not 3.
Something must’ve happened behind the scenes surely.
What is a Kolo Muani
Anyone know what Brighton are doing? Loaning Buonanotte and O’Riley. They’ve been letting a lot of good prospects leave for little to no money lately. I thought they were only supposed to sell players for 50-100m.
Guehi to Liverpool as well, this is an all timer transfer window for them
