English Football Season 2025-2026. Here we go again.
Welcome 2+2 to the English football season of 2025-2026.
This year I am going to make the thread officially for all of E
Lol plop
Is it 7 changes for Villa today? Several anyway. Big chance for Spurs to pick 3 points up.
The Villa fans are nega pissed and you cant blame them, Sancho lol
FFS Villa, you had one job
Best half of football from us in what, 2 seasons? Probably have to go back to early Ange.
This is a sad sequence of events.
Great urgency from Spurs but this is also an LOLtastic performance by Aston Villa.
After Kinsky's meltdown against Atletico, it was hard to imagine him ever wearing the shirt again for Tottenham, but he has been quite solid for for several matches now.
I am drinking up the internet narrative of it all being rigged so Spurs can stay up. Never change, internet.
That was absolutely terrifying despite us being excellent for 65+ minutes.

Energy level definitely dropped in the last 30 minutes. Several players looked gassed. As it turns out, playing with the appropriate sense of desperation is tiring. And Spurs spent the better part of three months playing with no urgency at all, so this uptick in effort is probably a shock to the system.
It is also unfortunate, that we have to play West Ham.
Chelsea's 2nd half of the season has been a nightmare
Lolsea
Can't remember the last time we scored in the league, think we're down like 20-0 in our last 6 games, curious to see the xG over that span cause it seems nothing has gone our way which - on top of being shite - isn't ideal
Brighton 2.52 - 0.30 Chelsea
Chelsea 1.28 - 0.44 Man Utd
Chelsea 1.22 - 2.41 Man City
Everton 1.45 - 1.35 Chelsea
Chelsea 1.73 - 1.03 Newcastle
Not that terrible!
Chelsea on a stinking run 6 games without a win in the prem
Sorry for the derail but just learned that Mourinho's Benfica could do an invincible season and NOT win the title and it wouldn't be the first time in the club's history they've done that....
Mind is blown.
If you cast your mind back there was talk during the 2004 run in that Arsenal might go unbeaten and not win the title due to the number of draws (12).
Got to score that
Please let that be the modern era Gerrard slip
