English Football Season 2025-2026. Here we go again.
Welcome 2+2 to the English football season of 2025-2026.
This year I am going to make the thread officially for all of E
I remember when we used to play tidy, attractive, eye catching football all game and then in a span of about eight seconds Cech would hoof it straight up to Drogba for 1-0. Then we got criticized to death for it.
So this is just fine. Everyone can suck it.
Don't think I've seen a rabona backhell before. Magnificent from MGW
how tf are manure in 3rd lol? there's somewhere between 0-2 good teams this season, you tell me
in other news, big w for the fightin' hoopies 👍
regretfully man u is actually pretty solid this year gonna have to eat the L there (largely in part because so many teams are much worse than i thought theyd be). its something that happens occasionally though where a rich team has a year with no europe and not a lot of fixtures and makes a good league run, then has a down season the next year. united will have a ton of business they need to do this summer to continue at this level next season.

The level of play is absolutely woeful. But Im firmly on the whatever it takes wagon.
If Brighton would have equalized I would have ran for the hills though. Hincapie and Gabriel were massive. Raya composed. Can't really comment on players going forward as we seemed to have lost most balls that were not passed backwards.
Whatever it takes tho
Relegation battle is officially ON. The Nigels had better not **** things up tonight.
If we win it in the same season Spurs get relegated...the only explanation is that LegoPep has sold his soul to the devil.
Also Dyche would have been a better choice than Tudor imo.
Also has anyone won a european trophy and got relegated the next season?
Lol edit: just watched the Hurzeler interview...the guy got severely tilted by our terror on the senses. This is what must have felt to support Chelsea under Mourinho - horrible footy, but the tears and meltdown by opponents and fans is almost worth it (yes I'm coping a bit).
Brutal. Feels like we are actually going down as all teams below us playing better and fighting for points. We appear to be doing the suboptimal opposite.
Crazy.

Hate everything about how we're playing now. Don't understand why the likes of Rice who have been excellent most of the season are now making silly mistakes that lead to goals but at this point I have to agree with you. Whatever it takes.
You don’t understand fatigue in Rice and Zubi from the lack of MF depth after Merino and Odes injuries?
Manager of club given four times the number of yellows last night complains about the opposition players taking time to get up.
His team not so good at providing in play time.
Something needs to be done here. The law makers need to address:
1) Ball not in play enough
2) Too many tactical fouls
3) Too many goals from set pieces
4) Arsenal going to win the league
5) West Ham might go down

Lol
I'm fully on the West Ham up bandwagon. Naturally that might cost us 2 NLDs per season, but that is a sacrifice I'm willing to take.
LOL. Amazing offside.
rip Spurs.
Very smart decision from VdV
Remember reading a few days ago how VdV wasn't going to sign a new contract. Guess he's making sure he doesn't have to by having Spurs go down.
I mean my brain still refuses to believe Spurs are going to go down but lol that is the worst team in the league rn by some margin.
Complete shambles wtf is Igor doing.
Dipping back in for a possible Spurs relegation extravaganza. Let’s have it.

We really are the worst team in the league the last few months, how is that possible?
Hopefully we can at least score against Lincoln and Blackburn next year. The last 8 or so games I just have started to see no way out.
Anfield next

We very nearly tripped over our own dicks against your 9 men already this season so you are very much live against what we are at the moment.
