Our list was:

Waitress
Banana
Round

With unlimited, banana is always ours

With capitals and not being “just nylon” clue, round is out bc don’t need 3 words (plus no franc - 3 for round as you said)

So either waitress or cotton/bikini/screen for final word

We need 3 cake words; assume lemon was one of them

Hood and nylon are NOT

So banana is and waitress would be

Otherwise it’s banana + 3 Tights but then final one has to hit cake

Cotton - no
Bikini - no
Screen - no

So:
Hood

Waitress
Banana
Bottles

So waitress, banana, lemon as cake…

Could be

Glasses blocks drinks like daiquiri or shots
Fruit doesn’t hit waitress
Pie hits banana, lemon, waitress better, but round is much higher hit there

So cake is reasonable as ~best clue for these 3

Yep I agree. My first thought when ball was wrong was that our list was probably not ideal, but now I see zero reason to change.

That board had more blockers on it than I ever remember seeing which hopefully explains the 2 clues.

Yeah this was blockers galore. Probably a pain to clue

I actually enjoyed it. Seemed more strategic than a typical game. Instead of just thinking about your own words you could think about which words to leave and sorta play blockers chicken with blues.

I left all my food words until Donk already cleared the way and I left the materials/clothes words until we had a shot to win.

I agree pie was better than cake, but I didn't think of it.

Had to avoid barbecue even though cook was out the way.

Tights was capitalised because of Robin Hood Men in Tights. Glad you got the reference.

Yeah i had beachwear - 3 ready to go for bikini cotton and glasses but i couldnt figure out a way to fold dice into the clue so I just clued for dice and hoped id get another turn

Nice clues and good figuring it out insanity

Lots of overlaps

Maybe some sort of drink girl, cabaret, etc clue to get dice for Vegas, glasses for drinking and bikini for the girl but not sure which one-word word gets that or how cotton fits in over other board words

I was thinking about Tropicana or Flamingo for a beach themed casino but im not sure cotton gets picked before others

Blockers or not, you kinda have to at least attempt to win in 3 as blue imo. You very rarely get a 4th turn unless reds really butcher it, and often times not even 3.

Masterful move by us leaving waitress blocker on the board by guessing ball 😀
