POG PUB 2025-2026: About damn time. For a lot of things. But not everything.
Happy New Year, everyone.
I'll let you all mentally fill in the categories in the title.
I am a fierce defender of geese in spring when they have their ugly lil fledglings slow walking all over the street blocking traffic commerce and my Wal-given right to access Walmart within six minutes of leaving my house. That is fine, I can wait. Teach the little ass holes to fly as soon as possible but in the meantime, no problem.
Other than that you HAVE THE ENTIRE SKY AND LAKES AND **** get off the sidewalk.
I agree with all of that. Geese on a golf course is a dangerous (scary?) situation. One goose would attack straight at the privates... You are one chomp away from a plastic surgeon appointment.
The amount of land that humans have claimed to support golf would irritate me if I were a goose.
Team goose!
Gulp. (Said in a high pitch squeaky voice)
I will ruffle your feathers at least.

Silly goose
The only relevant facts about geese is they're ornery ****s and they **** everywhere.
Team foie gras.
Socks always look so cozy in advertisements. I look at them and think, my feet would feel super warm and comfy in those socks. It's very pleasant. Things might not be the best right now but there is a future where cozy socks are possible.
my life is often a hellish nightmare of agony. but I do love my socks.
at my age, it's humbling getting them on my feet. sometimes I resort to laying down to get them on. but they are a comfort, and a pleasure

I love cozy socks with non-slip soles like they give out in hospitals so much that I order them from Amazon. They are my "not going anywhere today" footwear.
Love them. Link? We can be sock twins.
from a Sarah's Vegan Kitchen recipe:butter beans and kale in a sundried tomato cream sauce with fresh basil
Yum! I'm about to get started on some kind of soup. Maybe I'll call it kitchen sink soup, lol. Plan to use pinto/northern/garbanzo beans, ground beef, potatoes, celery, carrots, onions, and marzano tomatoes. Think I'll spice it up with chili powder and cumin. Should last me to xmas. Thoughts? I forgot to soak the beans last night damn it!
socks and soup both look amazing!
marknfw, i'd prefer fresh jalapeno to the chilli powder and cumin. but that's just me. and chilli powder and cumin still sound good AF!
Do not call it kitchen sink soup.

Sounds good---I'd add a little crushed red pepper or cayeene for a bit of extra heat, and maybe cook some pasta seperately to stir in--I love pasta e ceci and that would be a pretty close representation.
Harvest Soup maybe
I have and I am not shitting you whatsoever baked a cherry pie this morning from scratch (scratched it right out of a Mrs Callenders box). It's cooling on my pie cooling rack (the counter).
I love her apple with the crumble topping--and it's accidentally vegan. Five out of five stars, which is saying a lot because most apple pies are far too sweet for me.

I like the way you're thinking. Unfortunately, no jalapenos in the house and I'm not leaving the house today.

Oh yeah, definitely adding crushed red pepper. No pasta though, not with the potatoes.
Perfect. Done.

I made a scratch peach cobbler yesterday for game night at sis's house. Sadly what would normally last me a week was gone before night's end.
