For all I know the name of the thing that holds up puppets with strings is literally called a suspender. No idea if that's true or not, but it could be!
What would you clue tho? It's clear he had some hard combos to clue for this game. Just before we got fungus for for microscope+shower even though he had to know that cheese would be guessed first.

Not the same thing at all imo. And if he clued suspenders, then obviously puppet would never even enter the conversation.
Anyway, I don't think anyone's gonna change the other's mind on this one, so I guess nich is the tiebreaker.
I can't guess pants when he chose to remove the s from suspenders. It could be a typo, but we have to trust spymaster and assume they meant singular/plural and caps/no-caps when they do those things; it goes badly when we ignore them and assume they don't have meaning

Puppet - potentially; they usually have one wooden cross that is used to suspend the puppet with strings from; first thing both d1 and I thought of for suspender after belt/pants

Superhero - would be capitalized if The Suspender was a hero/villain

close, was hoping we would guess the final word as the game was much closer than it seemed cause they had everything lined up
wanted Mammoth/March/Spider for elephant but when Life was also mentioned I thought unlimited would pick that up along with March
needed to clue for Delta/Collar/Ash/Makeup so 2+2 seemed the way to go, Ash/Makeup was easy enough but Collar + Delta are kind of a PITA to link and couldn't think of any useful different combos

Cheese blocker didn’t matter since it’s neutral and once we remove pants as an option for singular and hole for being next on list, then puppet was only choice, so was a good clue
