A second child with measles in Texas has died amid an outbreak that's sickened more than 480 people in the state since January.
Fifty-six of those who have gotten measles have been hospitalized as of Friday, the state's Department of Health reported on its website. The exact cause of the latest death is still under investigation.
U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he will visit the state, Axios reported. NBC News reported Kennedy would attend the child's funeral.
Kennedy, a longtime vaccine skeptic, had suggested people use Vitamin A and cod liver oil to treat and prevent the highly contagious respiratory illness, prompting multiple children to need treatment for Vitamin A toxicity last week.
A child died from measles in late February as the outbreak in the South Plains and Lubbock region spread. That child was not vaccinated against the disease.
A two-dose vaccine, usually administered as part of a combination with mumps and rubella or MMR vaccine, can prevent more than 97% of infections. Even if a vaccinated person does develop the illness, symptoms are generally mild and the illness is less contagious.

It's okay, we get that you don't understand these things. The article actually does not contradict itself but I know these things are hard for you. Measles killed the kid regardless of the specific cause of death.
If you need a simple parable to explain: if a man kills someone, he still killed them regardless of whether it was a hammer to the head or a knife to the stomach. Or if he ran them over with a car and they died of sepsis weeks later.

If you don't know what the exact cause was how do you know measles caused it? It could have been completely unrelated.

I know you posted this with no added comment, insight, or perspective as usual just to troll and spread your vaccine FUD but I'll take the bait. I read the study and there is no smoking gun in here like this weird, vaccine obsessed X community seems to want there to be. Of course there should be continued research but the stroke risk and spike protein indicators of actually having COVID way outstrip this small sample. Not to mention they acknowledge that they can't really isolate for the vaccine as opposed to actual infection....

Every single one of those studies he posts is finding viral spike proteins. It's nearly impossible to find people that haven't been infected with covid at least asymptomatically at this point.

I disagree. By getting vaccinated you are increasing your possible risk of getting persistent spike protein. Getting vaccinated multiple times increases that risk exponentially.
Don't get vaccinated, then you eliminate one of the two ways you can get persistent spike protein.
I prefer my chances with the second option. Especially if you are in a low risk category for covid. Which is basically anyone under 65 years of age who is reasonably healthy.
