At some point the Western World has to realize they are beating a dead horse with their Palestinian "statehood" initiatives. These are not a serious people with serious expectations, and this will remain the case until the incentive structure completely changes.

Due to internal radicalization and Western largesse providing poor incentive structures, Palestinian society as a whole really believes if they adhere to a 7th century (really 9th century, as Isam was mostly invented in the 9th century, and the origin story is probably mostly fiction) moral worldview and hold out long enough they will destroy Israel and drive out the Jews. The rest of the world has to stop propping them up, so they are forced to face reality this is not a reasonable expectation.

I agree but the most likely course will be more capital flows into Israel as they have a competent workforce. The Palestinians will continue to fall behind because their culture revolves around killing Jews which isn’t actually a very valuable skill considering Jews make up a fraction of a percent of the world population.

Within this ****ed up world view it makes sense. Israel started the conflict but that was their divine right. So the fact that the Palestinians still havent given up is an affront to god.
What lead to Palestinian statelessness is obviously that their land was stolen.
