In the current news climate we see that some figures and events tend to dominate the front-pages heavily. Still, there a
What's even more strange about Coordi's statement is: who are the people who are pushing back on the idea that war with Venezuela is happening? I don't recall anyone saying that and I think any illusions about Trump being some peacemonger are long gone-- so I'm not sure who Coordi would be doing his victory laps about.
But fwiw I definitely don't think war there is inevitable or that Maduro is willing to die when exile is on the table.
I interpreted Trolly's comment to mean that, in other contexts, you have been perfectly willing to say things that others find offensive or distasteful.
I know that you would say we shouldn't avoid the truth just because others find it offensive. That's true, but your interpretation of the truth, at least on some issues, strikes most people as far too improbable for that reasoning to be a compelling defense.

Saying that some event was actually a psy-op and/or that people didn't die, or that government government/media is lying about something isn't actually offensive. Some people are just weirdos who are so in love with the version of reality that daddy gives them that they choose to take offense at such things. I definitely can't help that.
Celebrating war, or death, or violence or being flippant about such things is actually outside of the bounds of normal civility and in poor taste.
If I can’t enjoy the state of things then I’m at least going to revel in the fact that all of this is so transparently level 1 **** that should be incredibly obvious to everyone
Do your thing. I just thought the use of victory lap was a little off considering I personally wouldn't do a victory lap if I told someone their home's wiring was at risk of causing a fire and then do a victory lap if it burned down and killed them.
On a side note, and this isn't directed towards you or the post but I think a lot of people are a bit more war hungry than they realize. We've been born into it - from fighting to win an argument on a message board to controlling people with weapons.
...I think the best way to actually turn someone into a pacifist is to actually put them in a war. But we are a spoiled bunch right now.

I think telling parents who had their children brutally murdered that they are making it up seems outside normal civility and taste

What if they argued with you about and said how it was fine?
Who is "daddy" luckbox?

This entire line of logic depends on you being correct about what actually happened. Only a small percentage of people believe you are correct. If you are wrong, then telling someone whose friend or child actually died in a school shooting that they are just in love with their version of reality is wildly offensive.
I like this photographer guys response to the "backlash" from his photos
Cops are investigating a link between his murder and the Brown university shooting

Just came across this yesterday. Maybe only relevant because it includes Ivanka, but its a somewhat superficial view into the ultra wealthy
He actually made another as well
There is some interesting relevance imbedded I guess. Things like estate exemption increases, tax cuts, bailouts, etc.

just call it brown, nobody calls it bu and to make matters much worse... there's a very well known school that is called BU which is 50 miles away
I always liked the school's nickname - Brown Bears.
