I think I'd lock but it depends on so much (your age, family situation, income, risk tolerance, savings, etc)...

Maybe variable? If you've got investments you could potentially move around to pay off mortgage if some crazy spike in rates occurs (which I doubt), then I'd probably go variable. I ended up 5 year fixed a year ago back when the inversion was crazy (variable way higher than fixed), but even with that I kinda regret it. Mostly that's because I could pay off the mortgage tomorrow, but I'm basically leveraging relatively cheap mortgage rate to invest more in the markets.

I think most people following the whole thing are going to agree the guys are and will be ashamed of what they did, and that the Crown (on EMs behalf) has a real uphill battle trying to prove she did not consent.

lmao the carbon tax is gone buddy. It was always deficit neutral, mostly rebated back to the people, and wasn’t around long enough to get to the values to really make a big difference. If you need a truck for work you can’t make that change at all . As well you can turn down the thermostat a degree or two but you have to heat your house
