Moving up to NL25 and solving mental game leaks
Hi,
I am starting this thread to stay motivated, keep track of results and maybe even get some useful feedback along the way. I am currently playing NL10 and started with a bankroll of $200. My immediate goals are to:
- Move up to NL25
- Be more aggressive with marking and reviewing hands
- Work on my mental game which I think is a serious leak
I will try to update this thread at least once a week and post some interesting hands
First week went very well so let's try and keep up the momentum. Just need more volume

Goals for this week are to put in more volume and keep going with marking hands
BR: ~$400 including bonuses
Week 3 update:
Let's get to the graph

Running under ev which is unfortunate, but feel like I am playing well regardless. Volume is the main issue right now which is tough to balance between study, playing and working a full time job. Hopefully next week will be better. Lastly it is nice to see my red line being somewhat breakeven instead of the usual dropping off a cliff

Villain is also a passive fish. Probably a terrible fold looking at it now, just could not think of many bluffs that take this line. I don't know how overbluffed the river donk shove line is

Not sure about this one, can't think of a lot of value for villain in this line
Took a shot at NL25 since NL10 has been going so well but lasted around 90 hands before I called it.

Big losses come from JJvsAA AIPF and KK vs flopped set. NL25 just feels so different to NL10 which is where mental game comes in I am assuming.
Time to rebuild at NL10 again. Goals for this week are to just keep putting in volume and shot take NL25 again once confidence is back
Week 4 update:

Great week and was finally able to put in some better volume this time.
Took another shot at NL25 at the end and it was a disaster, ran terribly but also I think played bad as well

Lost QQvsAK and QQvsAA all in pre which I guess you can't do anything about but maybe could have got away from the following 2

Feels pretty frustrating to slowly build up at NL10 only to dust it all away at NL25 in a few hundred hands.
Goals for this week is to re-build again at NL10, study some more playing against regs and theory and try once again to take on NL25. I will likely build up some more of a roll before taking another shot to go in with the best mental possible next time
