1k usd to 1btc challenge playing 9 to 5 Shortdeck(6+) poker cashgames
Hello, my name is Rick, I play poker for around 10years, played professionally spin and goe's, mtt's and now playing short deck cash games for about last 3 years. I will be going live starting 2025 10 02 this week it will be kind of warmup, setting up stream and etc.. Challenge is to play and stream 9 to 5 with max focus at 2tables 5days a week like normal working job with 1 dinner break, relax at weekends and start other week again. First plan is to play wptglobal maybe later jumping to GG network.
Bankroll will be agressive, I will be playing 40 ante buyins, so I will go for 100buyin bankroll, moving down if I don't have certain amount when starting a day.

I regularly played up to 3.5$ stakes before and was shooting to 10$ stakes on gg, but with my fear of loosing money and 5digit downswing I was unsuccessful few times. When I reach about 28k usd, if bitcoin is not down to that level I will try to shoot higher than 3.5$ if I will see theres enough tables running for that. I also feel, that building bankroll starting with just 1k will let me get rid of my fear of loosing. I will be living from savings, will not be withdrawing money from this 1k starting bankroll until I get 1btc.

Checking in to my 9 to 5 job, its friday, have some changes to challenge. 9 to 5 stream challenge stays, but will not do bankroll challenge, my goal is to get to highest stakes of short deck as fast as possible, not to build bankroll.

I warmed up a bit, set up stream and now ready to start on monday with my new, updated challenge. No more bankroll challenge, just want to setup and fix my game for highstakes shortdeck and reaching 1BTC profit is my goal. Overall goals are playing in triton shortdeck tournaments if they run without vip lists and highest stake cashgames possible without vip games obviuosly. Will update my challenge every week. Will stream monday through friday, because it helps me to grind more focused, before I was watching a lot of movies and series on the side, so will do it, until something changes, but main goal is to play and study only 9 to 5 to reach top of what shortdeck has to offer.
