Was feeling kinda weird in RL lately, havent been putting in much volume. I felt like i was stagnating also when i sat down to play, even though im on a good site. Old patterns started to come back (like trying to regrind when i was down, quitting when i win a buyin), i kind of was embarassed to post here, even though that is why i even started the blog here: to stay motivated and ofc accountability.
Im gonna be honest: i havent worked enough toward my goals that i set in the beginning. Nothing seems to work, and i wake up every day feeling kinda **** (also wake up whenever i want when i dont have work), playing when i feel like it and not doing what it takes to really get better.
The only thing right now where i have a good routine is the gym.
So i have a problem. All problems have solutions, and im going to try to make it work. How am i going to do this?
- not going to bed super late
- i downloaded an app to structure my week
- i have a coach now, 3/5 sessions are already done
- make realistic volume and study goals
- post here again (im going to do this every 10k hands from now on)

Obv still playing, i wanted to update this also. Havent been able to put much volume in during dec, but i took a shot at 50nl today, which went kinda nice!

Havent updated in a long time, but im not dead and im ofc still playing. Ive moved my poker social stuff to mostly discord, where i have found a nice community.
During the time w/o updates, i have moved to 50NL, played a small sample of 50k hands at 5EVbb/100, after sprinting through NL20 since my last update. I have bought HM3 since H2N is not free anymore.
Ive learned quite a lot about myself. Im working 30h+/week rn, volume is quite a big issue since i miss good times to grind, when i get home its already late and im not focused anymore. I think i have made some progress, but the more i play the more i feel like i dont really know **** about this game, which motivates me to work more on it. The feeling of knowing what youre doing instead of just clicking random buttons is def important. I have about a 3k roll right now, and i plan to sit in some 100NL games when the seat is good. Thanks to my job and liferoll being nice, i dont really feel monetary pressure. I have went through some swings at 50NL already, and tbf it really didnt affect me. I just cant imagine how it would feel like when i would already have to rely on my results to pay the bills tho. My goal is not to go pro asap, but to first win at some higher stakes and gradually quit my current job. Ideal scenario would be like 10h/work per week in october when uni starts, and to be able to support myself mostly by just poker in 2026 when everything goes good. Im not rushing it though. I have to become a good player, no sense in going full time as a 50nl shitreg for now.
