Ancient roots analysis costs extra. But afaik every European has a couple % Neando in them. Other than that I'm mostly Eastern European, followed by German and Baltic for a total of 80%, and then a little bit from everywhere around Germany. Expected more French, but only 2%. Merde!

Sounds interesting. I wanted to do one of these tests for a while, but didn't get to it yet. I guess I am also scared about a few things. Like my late mother had a terrible disease the last 2-3 years of her life, I do prolly have it in my genes too. She also had various other illnesses. Not sure how much of that is genetic actually, some things you don't wanna know in too much detail. OTOH my father seems quite healthy considering his age, so there's still hope 🙂 AFAIK my fathers heritage is from deep in the Bavarian forest, close to Czech Rep, my mothers heritage is from Silesia. Certainly a lot of Neanderthal considering the various stupidities I occasionally get into. 😀 But what do I know? Happy weekends all.

Quite honestly, with Murican companies I wouldn't do that either. Too much $$$ fixation above everything else. Also not Chinese ones obv. But yeah it could happen also with others and most generally is a matter of concern.
