Getting Started
Here is what you need to do to get started.
- Turn up your sound. There are lots of verbal prompts and sounds of the game.
- Login here and sign-up: https://www.letsplaypokahkid.com
- Click on the Tables link at the top of page
- Click on the Create a pokah table at bottom of page.
- Fill in the name of the new table at top of page
- Leave Password to sit down blank or it will cause issues later on.
- Click Submit
- Click on newly created table in list
- Click on Join the pokah table on left

To Play Solo
If you want to just check out the site and see all the games offered and how it works, you can do so in Solo Mode. As Boss of the table, you can respond to prompts for all players. You will not be able to see anyones cards but your own, but you can get a sense of what is available and how it all works.
- Click on Solo at top
- Click on Assign Seats at top of list. You will see a bunch of people get automatically seated at the table
- You can use the Reset Table menu option to start over
Now you should be able to follow the prompts and play some games. You are The Boss which means you will be able to answer all prompts for all players. You will see a red label that says Acting as Boss when you are.
The hamburger menu in the top left has a bunch of useful links. The FAQ answers a lot of questions. Let us know what others you have and I will add them.
As you mouse around the table, there are lots of tooltip popups that will explain what stuff is.
We are working on creating player bots so you can play agains "real" players soon.
To play with your buddies
- Setup the game as described above.
- Use a password when you create the table so nobody else will be able to sit at your table.
- Send link and password to your buddies and have them join your table.
- Follow the prompts and have fun.
- Optionally, you can setup a Zoom meeting for better interaction during the game. There is a chat feature at the table if you would prefer.
The site does not collect or distribute money. You are responsible for managing real money. The site will keep track of everyones stack for you. You can settle up however you choose when the game is complete.
