Shove river?

Shove river?

On the river, I debated the merits of betting (targeting 5xxx) or checking to induce bluffs. Given SPR, he is stacking me with all boats. Shove or check-call?

You have a good bluff catcher, so bluff catch.

My issue with check calling is, I heavily block boats, which weights him more to 5xxx. Population severely underbluffs river in big pots, so I felt shoving made the most sense.

What 5* do you put him on?

River.... Weigh up value with straight line, versus bluff catch value. I'd imagine he has tjq kjq quite a lot

I'd X/decide on flow and intuition

Remember, you get more information checking than going for merge value. You don't have many bluffs, so check would be better

You'd have to be turning AA** into a bluff

Does villain assume you can do this?

We have 3 players on the flop, why do we bet so little, we bet 23-32bb on the flop and push the turn.

I am betting the turn also. Just want to finish the hand there. You cant bet just boats there... and this is a perfect boat blocking hand.

I have top 2 and straight draw on a rainbow flop. I felt betting big just isolates me against a range that I can't beat.
