Mariano , a very "unlucky" player?
I've known the site long long time ago and been playing poker even more than that but this is my first thread ever. Please take it ez on me!
I believe in Statistics and Maths then I know a guy called Mariano.
I run pretty bad last 2 months and believe that Luck is just a part of the game and it will even out in the long run.
But I just can't imagine how good Mariano run in most HCL big pots. Please tell me that it's something natural

I honestly think it’s because his hairline is so tight, his runouts are pure.
But actually the guy has been grinding poker every fucking day for like the past 10 years, and also sees a ton of flops so he’s going to find the sun more than me and you.
He also has better navigation skills due to his high volume and plays in games where Q4ss can win when it flops a Q or rivers a 4.
But if you look at the biggest winners and their hairlines you’ll find a strong correlation, also. I think.

He shoved almost dead vs turbo last week for over 100k drawing only to the flush and hit.

Drawing to a flush on the turn and getting it in almost dead are like shooting a bullet and throwing a bullet
I played a good amount against Mariano at Morongo many years ago.
Morongo had butter soft games but it was inconvenient af driving from LA out there to play.
Good for the kid. People will post **** about app games or whatever but he plays solid, plays with dedication. I was at my most only 50% dedicated to poker. It’s nice to see someone who went 100% in have it pay off for them.
And yeah he also sunruns hotter than anyone but it had to happen to someone.

He's not super dedicated to poker. Nor should he be. He plays a few hundred hours a year in butter soft high stakes games most don't have access to. That's an amazing spot to be in.

He said he was 100% dedicated to poker, which he was, because he created hundreds of hours of poker content which likely took him additional thousands of hours to produce. This is in addition to studying and grinding the social game of poker (networking).
Poker is not and has never just been about total hours spent at the table.

It's about exploiting people. He doesn't grind, he doesn't produce, he doesn't study ..he exploits. He does do voiceovers though.
being just good at poker isn't that only thing that will increase your hourly in live poker if u didn't know. online sure wr x hourly but live poker you need more than that fyi
Is the 3bet shove on the turn a good play? Does he think he has fold equity there? Is it good poker etiquette to say " i can't see how I can lose, two pair no good"? I guess he's joking, but is it funny?

Flatting on the SB with K6s-whatever, stream call- but then shoving vs a 3bet and a flat? And he thinks Jungleman isn't going to sniff that out? And then says he has AK?

He's playing with absolute droolers and he's also run super well. All he knows is running good so he's got that entitlement. You can see it on his face the rare times things don't go his way. So yea sometimes he just clicks buttons figuring even if he's called the deck will bail him out.
I kept up with his year-end tallies. I believe he has been climbing in net gains each year for like the last 4 years or so. It ain't luck after all this time. Unlike his pal, Rampage, who I don't know how the hell has stayed solvent.
All he knows is running good so he's got that entitlement. You can see it on his face the rare times things don't go his way.
That’s the most insufferable thing about him. He plays vs people with absolutely no clue, runs like god, is up millions playing against said droolers. And yet, when he occasionally doesn’t cooler someone or run over the table he’s a baby.

Turbo had the 8 of spades and A of spades would have given turbo a full house and I believe several other spades were folded pre. He was drawing super slim.
Is that how you play your flush draws? Assuming they have all been folded? I’m sure you’re looking at this wrong
Mariano is a solid player it seems. I personally hate poker players because you guys are scum. I don't like the way you guys treat me and I think most gamblers are idiots and they are worse players than me. You guys kissed Jared Huggens ass and we know how that ended. I have no respect for gamblers period.
