verbal tell on 3 bet pot
I want you to give me your opinions about this hand. I played this hand on NLH cash game 25-50 peso (1-2 USD) 8 handed in Mexico. I had A♦️Q❤️ at CutOff. A SB player sometimes 3-bets, and bluffs at a certain frequency. After I folded AK against his 3-bet, he showed J5s, so at this time, he might 3-bet with bluff. Based on that, and because my position was OOP, I chose call with AQ.

A problem with this hand is your large x8 raise, which means after you call the 3-bet you're left with an SPR <2. FWIW, the solver is indifferent to folding vs. calling the 3-bet.
Given that this is one of the worst flops for you, this seems like an easy fold on the flop.
If he's telling the truth about having a hand like TT/JJ, is he really going to fold if you shove?
PRE - I wouldn't raise so large. Why not make it 250 peso? When V 3B's 4x, the pot is already getting too big for our hand. I think the best course of action here is to either fold, or turn our hand into a bluff and jam all in.
FLOP - We have no pair, just one over-card, and a back-door straight draw, but on a two-flush board. This seems like a pretty easy fold.
When an opponent starts talking to us after they've acted, and we're thinking about whether to call or fold, it's usually going to mean they have a strong hand. When they start telling you the hands that beat theirs, they're usually lying, and they have a REALLY strong hand.
I would think V has KK, 99, AA, or AsKs.
When someone bluffs us, and then shows their bluff, they're usually doing that for future value, because they're NOT planning to bluff us again. The next time they bet big or raise against us, they're going to have a strong hand.
There are some players who can't help themselves, and will show a bluff, then go on and keep bluffing, but they're rare, and easy to identify, because they play way too many hands, and get caught bluffing repeatedly.
