Basing his entire lifestyle around cheap rooms is kind of silly when you look at the breakdown of what he's actually paying around $1500 per month when you include his gambling costs. It's very dangerous and foolish to go around assuming that things are impossible just because they only occur 10 to 15% of the time. Are you saying that he wasted several days driving across country and back, just to be at the destination for a very brief time. Added into this, he has to race back to make money at slots? If he were making so much money at slots, and loses so much money by not being there, it would have made much more sense to fly both ways for just a little more money.
