Well, i predicted they would be done before 2025 is behind us and i was pretty spot on. After the underwhelming Enchant in December i felt like they hit a wall.

I noticed several months ago that all the videos that were just of her without the Trooper in them had all been removed. I'm guessing Trooper has total control of all her accounts.
Well, i predicted they would be done before 2025 is behind us and i was pretty spot on. After the underwhelming Enchant in December i felt like they hit a wall.
Sad part for Lady Trooper is that it would definitely have been a profitable side hustle. That is until Trooper took over and decided to try and turn it into some massive empire that it was never going to be.
I honestly don't think it's possible to over-capitalize on a hare-brained idea more than what they did with the full commercial kitchen and brand new equipment, when they never had anywhere near the volume of sales to justify it.

Absolutely agree. This could and would have been a very profitable side gig,probably one that could have lasted for several years if not overkilling it and if done properly.
Also i will say that the decision by Trooper to pay 4K just to get a booth at Enchant was a pretty massive blackout.
Its gonna be pretty hard to do well when you have to sell candy worth of 4 grand just to be breaking even.
I hate to see any small business fail because I admire anyone taking a shot. But so many of their mistakes were small business 101 stuff.
All of this was really just a mechanism to monetize, albeit in a minor way, his vlog watchers. Coffee, t shirts, hats - now some home made candy -
To pivot to becoming a mom and pop candy manufacturer, taking on huge overhead and investing in a bunch of expensive equipment- and in process stopping the poker vlog and Trooper Thursdays - thereby turning off the main distribution channel. Just deliberately shooting themselves in both feet.
Is trooper going to get a job? Will Lady trooper leave him? Is she already in the process of leaving him? Did the candy empire fail because she turned off the money spout on her way out the door? Will trooper become a promo grinding nomad like Diesel? Stay tuned....
It's amazing that T couldn't spend 6 hours a week to maintain the only recurring revenue source during the start-up.
He probably felt it was demeaning to meet with the same group of circus geeks every week.

At the time this happened I was making $65k a year at my job and poker was booming. It was $80k over 5 years basically. Most of it was from poker profits. This was also 9+ years ago. Things change.

Today's video from Rice opens from a parking garage with a shout out to one of his viewers whose name he can't remember.
The subject quality quickly goes downhill from there.
Basically, the more popular poker becomes, the more people watch poker videos, and the more people watching more poker videos, the more views Rice's videos get, and the more views Rice gets, the more money he gets from youtube.
This took about 9 minutes of rambling babbling including several graphics and spreadsheets to illustrate the concept.
Rice should hire Trooper as a production assistant to help out with his burgeoning media empire. That will free up time so that Rice can host Rice Thursdays at the Westgate.

As someone who has had product businesses and done many trade shows it was so obvious this business couldn't possibly break even in this manor. He made so many amateur mistakes on this one, it's been painful to watch.

The Nomadic life requires sleep deprivation, which can cause ELD to lose short term memory and sometimes forget who donated to ELD for a shout out. This may in the future be a complaint of a miserable viewer.

It's amazing he's so stubborn.
I couldn't teach him anything about running a small candy business.
But a lot of people on here tried to help him with poker early on but of course they were jealous haters of a man barely beating 1/2 when most people offering help hadn't played that low in years.
I mean I get being a stubborn 21 year old thinking you know everything,getting your ass kicked by the world and learning from it.
But to be in your 40s, barely scraping by at low stakes and thinking you know everything is a special kind of stupid.
