We're back in PHX after a nothing morning. Cashed in some tickets from various -EV gambols (-$200 total), then hit Primrose for family b'fast. No pics, was underwhelming and about another -$100 for three of us (burgers yesterday were also about $100/3) AzDaughter1 did give it a thumbs up for the glutton free offerings (she had avo toast on GF bread)
4 hours plus the time change and we're home.
Had small action on the home teams and the overs from BetMGM but that turned to dust on the drive home. Glad I didn't make a point to watch that game [emoji22]

In keeping with previous TRs, I'll document my musical interludes prior to the big Widespread Panic weekend coming up. Since we have a few months, I expect to post here regularly. I might include some local poker action, as well.
Last night I took my buddy to the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) in Phoenix to see JD Simo and Luther Dickenson w/Adam Abrashoff on drums. All outstanding! Highly recommended.
Tonight's music will be much different. I'm excited.

Would love to get a drink or grab a bite with you and hubby. Plan is to arrive Thursday (May 7?) with no actual plans Thu afternoon/evening except to take in LV/Strip activity/poker. Not sure when my other TR companions (except LD who will at least ride up with me) arrive.
Played at the local $100 daily yesterday with no results. Made it to 2nd break (one bullet), but card/spot dead and eventually got ~10 bigs in QQ vs K6s but a K in the window sealed my fate.
Meanwhile, over at Talking Stick, massive fields in the MSPT $1,100 Main, which I didn't even think about entering. Should have tried to satellite in, but have been busy with work and other BS (concerts!)

I saw Widespread in 1989 or 1990 at Super Jam II in Watkinsville, then twice in a week in Jan 1994 on the Everyday tour in first Clemson then at Furman. Saw them last in 2023 at the Fox in Atlanta. Would love to see them in Vegas.
My first show was in Tempe, Az 1993 at the Sun Club, a tiny club with a 1' high stage. I was practically standing between Schools (bass) and JB (singer).
Since then, Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago, Missoula, SF, Berkeley, SD, LA, LV, FLG, Tuc, Sedona, Tempe, Phx. In reverse proximity order 😀

Broken YouTube LinkAin't won diddly at poker lately. Couple of cash sessions and one or two tournaments, no good results.
Welp, the suck continues. MtMother1 has been having some tests done. She got the results yesterday. Multiple cancers. The Dr said 2 months. I am devastated.
