Sir, this is a Wendy's.

One time as a kid my Mom tried ordering a Happy Meal for my sister at a Burger King while I was in the car. I found it so outrageous I decided to one-up her and dump an entire XL Coke into the trunk compartment of the minivan.

Sum41 sucks. I'm sorry, it's not my fault.

Fat lip was pretty good and in too deep was great if you had not experienced much of great music in your life. pieces is pretty emotional and maybe their best song and that's about it for stuff that jumps off the album at you.

You're just not going to be remembered as a great band if you only have 3 decent songs and everything you write feels manufactured by an ex-employee at Disney.

Terence Tao on working hard:

“Relying on intelligence alone to pull things off at the last minute may work for a while, but generally speaking at the graduate level or higher it doesn’t.

One needs to do a serious amount of reading and writing, and not just thinking, in order to get anywhere serious in mathematics; contrary to public opinion, mathematical breakthroughs are not powered solely (or even primarily) by “Eureka” moments of genius, but are in fact largely a product of hard work, directed of course by experience and intuition.

The devil is often in the details; if you think you understand a piece of mathematics, you should be able to back that up by having read all the relevant literature and having written down at least a sketch of how that piece of mathematics goes, and then ultimately writing up a complete and detailed treatment of the topic.

It would be very pleasant if one could just dream up the grand ideas and let some "lesser mortals" fill in the details, but, trust me, it doesn't work like that at all in mathematics; past experience has shown that it is only worth paying one's time and attention to papers in which a substantial amount of detail and other supporting evidence (or at least a "proof-of-concept") has already been carefully gathered to support one's "grand idea". If the originator of the idea is unwilling to do this, chances are that no-one else will do so either.”

I'm 99.9% sure there were about 5 posts that were deleted just now. I deleted posts that sucked last night, but just now there were posts removed that followed AIM's video.

Like I've been online for about 20 minutes and the posts were there originally, but now they are not.

I deleted some posts last night that were terribad but the ones that were here were okay.

@mike_haven: If you see these posts today or w/e, feel free to delete them if you decide it's cool to bring back the deleted posts to life (Not the deleted ones from last night, the ones deleted at approximately 1PM forum time)

It would suck if I'm just flat wrong and there were no posts today. It wouldn't suck that hard tho, my memory isn't perfect and I just woke up -- the succesful guys that put their hard work in the early morning are just crazy.

sometimes I feel like a burden. i know it's not a big deal to ask an admin to do some modding, but i'd rather manage my life entirely if i had the choice.

now I think it's about 60/40 that there were deleted posts needing to be brought back (but not the originally deleted ones omg_wtf_bbq).

i had high hopes for this page but it's going south pretty quick

and they weren't even good posts, assuming they exist. just pithy stuff and some lyrics.

On the old forum, which I still use, no posts were made or deleted between your TT quote and All-inMcLovin's The Office YT.

I managed to get into the new forum, and no posts made or deleted there, either.

thanks for taking a look mike. the posts were after the video, but i no longer care. let's just keep it as is and let the chips fall were they may.

I have officially gone slightly crazy. it's okay, it was accuate in nature and i am fine now.

damn, that sucks a bit. I had a really good run of being very not crazy! oh well. new streak begins now.

I 3! a guy in a MTT with AK and he called with K5 off. flop was 557ss and i went broke to him. he's the crazy one now.

I decided to buy the darn guitar today. PRS custom, hopefully colored blue.

all the coolest people in history have gone crazy at one point or another fwiw. me included

post; 2 minutes before you made your TT post.

No offence meant, but maybe you should slow down on your posting? Sometimes less is better.

i can't be too crazy if im running over online cash games. which im doing right now. in the past i've used poker and chess (usually chess because its free) as a barometer to assess my mental condition.

ba*ack *bama was pretty ****ing crazy the other day when he confirmed aliens exist. nothing like gaslighting the nation amirite?
