We have a number of items to report on. First, as many of you already know, our annual 2+2 Party will be held at The Wynn on July 7. We’re thrilled to be at there and expect this to be our best get-together ever. So let me thank the Director of Poker Operations, Donna Harris, whose also one of our authors, and her staff for making this possible. For those interested, we have an announcement thread in our “Las Vegas Lifestyle Forum”. Starting in May, we’ll get more information up including an RSVP thread.
Next, 13 of our books are now available through our 2+2 Store as e-books. They are available as either a PDF e-book or an E-Pub e-book, and the prices are quite competitive. What this means is the there are a large number of E-Readers which will be supported. So, if an e-book is the way you want to go, our most popular titles are now available.
Also, in the next few months, we’ll be adding a few more titles to our e-book store, and this will include our newer books. For those interested, here’s the link to our “E-Books” page in our 2+2 Store.
At the end of this month, or the beginning of next month, we’ll be releasing our next book The Intelligent Poker Player by Philip Newall. If you’re interested in finding out more about this title, especially after it’s released, just check our “Books and Publications Forum.” There should be plenty of posts about it.
We are currently working on a free iPhone and Android app for viewing the forums using the Tapatalk engine. That is, you’ll be able to easily read 2+2 on your smart phone once this is completed. For those interested, you can keep up to date on our progress in this thread:
Finally, we expect to be adding a forum for classified ads. I don’t have all the details, but the idea is to allow something like newspaper classified ads at a reasonable charge. This will differ from our commercial marketplace in the sense that these ads will cost much less, but they will only be a listing with a maximum of a small number of words, and no threads containing discussion posts.
